spent much time trying to research/figure out this problem with no
luck, so I''m hoping someone might be able to help me here. =)
I''ve successfully installed xen 3.02 on Linux RH4 on my Sun single proc

Call "stuck" in queue
Asterisk 11.1.0
One queue with strategy=leastrecent. (Full queues.conf below.)
Occasionally (several times today), a caller will get "stuck" in the
queue - there are operators available to take the call, but the caller
stays in the queue for a long time. Any idea what might cause this, or
where I can start looking to debug it? I'm going to start digging
through the queue log

Problem with my simulation
Dear R-users,
thanks for your help last time!
But now I've got a new problem with my simulation program.
In order to save time I decided to divide my program in
different parts. So I can use several computers (at the
moment 3). On all these computers I installed the R-version
1.7.1. One works without problems. The other 2 don't work.
During program`s running Rgui.exe causes an error,

Improving partial lookup results
Incidentally, if you're actually aiming to match different forms of a
name (Peter vs Pete, Ann vs Anne vs Annette) then you might find the
synonym feature a better option than wildcarding.
You'd need to give it a list of names to treat as synonyms, but it
should have many fewer false positives, and can also handle cases
which aren't just a substring - e.g. Robert vs Rob vs Bob vs

Simulation of recurrent events
I'd like to program a simulation of recurrent events to test few models in
R. Is there anybody who has experience of that and could give me advice?
Your help is greatly appreciated!

(no subject)
Dear R users,
I created a program for a simulation. It produces datasets and then it
conducts some fits with the function coxph. Sometimes this function produces
warnings, but I get only this warnings after finishing my program. Is there any
possibility to get these hints earlier, maybe at once after the fit? I tried to
store that during my program, but warnings() doesn't work.
Thanks for

a question about using nlme
Hi,
I am using Splus to run a multiphase mixed-effects model.
The quations of the models are as below:
gf[ij]=b0[i]+b1[i]*age[ij]+b2[i]*max(0,(age[ij]-tau[i]))^2+e[ij]
b0[i]=b00+e[i0]
b1[i]=b10+e[i1]
b2[i]=b20+e[i2]
tau[i]=tau+e[i3]
i: 1,2,...,100 subjects
j: 1,2,...,6 occasions
The main scripts of Splus is:
simu1<-groupedData(gf~age|id)
simu.nlme<-nlme(gf~(b0 + b1 * age + b2 *

a question about nlme
Hi,
Sorry to bother those who are not interested in the
question.
I am using R to run a multiphase mixed-effects model. I
simulated a data set by using the following model. And now
I want to use R to estimate the parameters and compare the
results with the true values.
The equations of the models are as below:
gf[ij]=b0[i]+b1[i]*age[ij]+b2[i]*max(0,(age[ij]-tau[i]))+e[ij]
b0[i]=b00+e[i0]

CentOS 6.0
Hello,
Can anyone pls tell me if a ThinkServer TS130 with a E3-1225 Xeon processor
is compatible with CentOS 6.0? I would like to upgrade from 5.6 but my
hardware will not allow me to do so. I do not wish to buy something that is
incompatible as I already have that now.
The TS130 is replacing the TS200v which is RHEL 6.x certified. The TS130 has
an Intel mobo and uses the C206 chipset. I do not

How to backup from Win to Linux using smb

I submitted this one to the mailing list awhile back, but I've made some
improvements, so here it is again.
We have cron run a script every night that backs up all the systems (Win and
Unix) to a single tape. Naturally, the tape capacity needs to be large enough
for all the systems involved.

[ANNOUNCE] cmarkdown-0.3
Hi!
I wrote an markdown interpreter in C. It should support most of the
features markdown.pl has (hopefully). Please report any bugs.
It would be a good idea if you could test the interpreter with you're
own documents and report any differences to markdown.pl

InstCombine, graph rewriting, Equality saturation
Thanks for the response.
Should I create a small prototype of equality saturation as an LLVM pass so
that there can be some concrete discussion on this? I'd love pointers.
Thanks,
