UNDI NDIS DOS Driver
I found the 3Com one, but I'm looking for the intel one. The PXE PDK doesn't have it anymore, and the intel site points me to the proboot.exe archive, which has no *.dos files in it. Does anyone know of other generic drivers for dos that work with memdisk's keeppxe option?

How to add option dhcp-class-identifier "PXEClient"; with ISH DHCPD v3
hi, a little question regarding pxe-stuff. I need the boot menu known from Intel PXE PDK so I need to run pxe service on redhat 8.0 with dhcpd 3 I run pxe and dhcpd on the same server. So the dhcpd server should give an extra parameter to pxe-clients. On Redhat 7.3 with dhcpd v2 this was done with the option: option dhcp-class-identifier "PXEClient"; On dhcpd v3 this o...

UNDI packet driver?
Hi all, I'm still trying to figure out a good way of booting a DOS disk image via PXE and accessing files over a network share. Having some success with the Microsoft network DOS client, it seems that many programs have issues with its IPX support - so, now I'm trying to use Novell's IPX driver instead. Unfortunately it seems I need an ODI driver to do this, and there are no

Using memdisk to remotely flash BIOS
I am using memdisk to remotely flash the BIOS and other firmware. It works well for most flash programs. After the flash I need to initialize the NIC to send a signal to my management server that the flash is complete. I am curious as to how others have solved this problem. Thanks.

Universal Packet Driver
I often boot DOS using MEMDISK and 33MB HD images for remote flashing. After my flash I need to activate the NIC and send a signal. Currently I use different packet drivers for different NICs, but this link below looks like a universal solution: http://www.emboot.com/products_UniversalPacketDriver.htm Does any thing else like this exist that is open source or freely available and freely

syslinux PXE boot version upgrade, network no longer working
...ST WORKGROUP=WORKGROUP This made it possible for me to pxe boot Free DOS 1.2 and use the Intel Universal NDIS Driver v2.11 981212 with the Microsoft 3.0 Net Client. Finding the NDIS.DOS file for DOS proved difficult but I ended up finding them by doing ftp searches online for pxe20-sdk.exe, pxe20-pdk.exe, pxe_pdk.exe. I hope this information also helps someone else and I hope a newer release of syslinux eventiually fix the keeppxe parameter which I also discovered has to come after an append statement and is case sensitive. syslinux PXE boot version upgrade, network no longer working
Hi David, On Mon, 5 Feb 2018 18:09:51 -0500 David McDowell via Syslinux <syslinux at zytor.com> wrote: > Thanks for the suggestion Lukas. So neither a fork nor a different project ;) . According to the link I had provided:

Problems with old hardware
...in ethereal that only 35 packets are sent from the tftpserver the 36th packet is never acknoledged I have read this { PXE stacks based on Intel's 0.99 series code } A lot of older PXE stacks are based on Intel LANDesk Service Agent II, versions 0.99, which were released by Intel as "PXE PDK v2.x", despite being what can best be described as alpha quality. These stacks have numerous problems and can trivially be crashed. and I wonder how to call the 0.98i version ;-) any ideas ? thx in advance

Call forwarding
Yo, Inspired by the example in the tips & tricks-section of "http://www.junghanns.net/asterisk/", I built a more elaborate call divert-feature. This one validates if the extension a call-forward is to be set to is actually valid for the current context and additionally saves this context into the DB and always uses it to originate the divert from, as you can't expect the
