Samba on Solaris 7
Hey, i have installed SAMBA 2.0.5 on my SUN SPARC 5 running under SOLARIS 7. I can see the SAMBA-Server on my NT-Notebook. But I cant change to the shared directories. I get following error: Timeout or HCLNFSD / PCNFSD not running on host Has somebody an idea how to solve the problem. Wierd Errors...
...ge for all errors" issue? That was the error message that I got when I tried to get Wes's machine to connect to the plotter. When I tried to get it to "Map Network Drive" it gave me a message that said: "An error occurred in networkprovider InterDrive NT. Error 1208. PCNFSD not accessible on remote server. ...p HD. Now this is start confuse me a bit since from that laptop, I can run a ping, telnet or ftp to the HP machine (where Samba is running) but not access the the Samba drive. I thought the Linux router would taking care of cross subnet communication. I always get "Network timeout or HCLNFSD/PCNFSD not running on Host" error when I try to map the Samba drive.
