Hello my name is Jared Skinner. I don't know about any of you but my only hurdle to overcome that inhibits my switching totally to Linux is pcanywhere. My job requires me to use it and believe me I have tried to sway them to VNC. Does anyone have a howto on how to get it to work via wine??? After many attempts to get weight multipath routing to work reliable on my NAT firewall, I am beginning to think, maybe it simply does not make sense to combine them together. ...1) So a windows client with checkpoint tries to connect to a vpn-1 server on the internet. The securemote client can connect and the windows client can even ping the private network at the other end of the tunnel. So far so good. When the windows client tries to run an app through the tunnel (i.e. pcanywhere) no connections can be established. Any ideas ? My server is RH 5.2 and i use Samba 1.9.18p10 and the client use WFW 3.11 with tcp/ip protocols installed. The subnet and the IP Address is right but I still only telnet form WFW 3.11 to Linux...not the reverse. On Linux telnet is working.
