HFC-S in NT mode, wiring?
I've got an old HFC-S card to play with, and I would like to use it in NT mode. I've a problem only: wiring. I can't fully understand the instructions I was able to find online. Someone can point me to a site which explains the whole procedure clearly (like with some schematics, even in ASCII)? TIA, Simone.

ISDN cards that support nt mode
Hi, I am looking for inexpensive isdn card that supports nt mode with asterisk. Does it mean that if mISDN has nt mode support for a specific card that asterisk has too? If yes, I presume I could buy any of the cards listed on the PBX4Linux page: http://isdn.jolly.de/cards.html Or will asterisk work ONLY with cards with hfc chipsets? Cheers, Arik

Integration between Asterisk and Siemens HiCom 150e over ISDN
...[and 2x X100P Analogue FXOs, but that's not relevant here] My understanding is that I should configure the ISDN card in NT mode and power the bus with an NT1, or will a crossover cable in to the HiCom suffice? Reference to NT1's and line power here: http://isdn.jolly.de/download/v3.0/PBX4Linux-3.0.pdf - Siemens HiCom 150e: I currently have a HiCom 150e switch with digital and analogue stations and an analogue trunk card (TLA4). I also have an STLS4 card. Initially, I thought this would be the answer to my prayers but now am not so sure... According to http://www.webco.com/siemens/i...

The /var/log/messages file says: "MISDN free_device: entitylist not empty" I'm using Linux 2.6.11.11 + mISDN-CVS-2005-05-01 + Asterisk 1.0.7 + Zaptel 1.0.7 chan_misdn build from chan_misdn-beta-0.0.3-rc6

ISDN X-Over
Hi all, I have just been reading an article on the asterisk-doc site about ISDN X-Over cables. The article mentioned the converting of an NT1 to make this possible, has anybody got the information required to modify a BT NT1? Or any information on the BT NT1. Thanks in advance. Regards Dave

chan_capi and DDI (Anlagenanschluss)
Hi all ! We have 3 NTBAs which are all going to our existing PBX. Our areacode is 06003 and our DDI enabled number 9141. I want to exchange that PBX with Asterisk, but still struggle to get it working. My CAPI.CONF is currently like this: [general] nationalprefix=0 internationalprefix=00 rxgain=0.800000 txgain=0.800000 [interfaces] context=in-capi msn=60039141 incomingmsn=* controller=1

ISDN PBX + IVR + Voicemail Configuration - Sanity Check ...
...orite configuration would consist of an ISDN2 telco connection on the outside and running multiple ISDN phones from a single point-to-multipoint nt-mode ISDN controller (CologneChip based) on the inside, this does not seem to be supported very well at this stage. ISDN bus power, as described by the PBX4Linux initiative, is not much of an issue for me personally, because all our ISDN equipment have their own power supply. Hopefully support for internal ISDN S-busses will become available in time, as we, like many others in Europe, have made significant investments in ISDN equipment over the years and li...

CAPI / Channels
hi all, i have a probably very stupid question/problem. for testing purpose i am trying to get asterisk running with two isdn cards. I'd only like to here the demo sound when i call the number - but nothing works. The output of show channels is not showing any channel - should there be 4 channels ? - capi info shows my two cards perfectly. The ISDN Controller's are attached to an PTMP
