NTFS-type directory permissions
...mapped to a single share that contains all of the folders
(can't be more than one share since users need to access the folders
from windows using the same drive letter).
That share contains:
Admin
Helpdesk
Finance
HR

The particular user only has access to the HR directory which contains:
Paychecks
Personnel
List
etc.
Now, this user should only have read access to List, no access to
Personnel, and write access to Paychecks. In our current setup, he
has write access to all these folders because they are only controlled
by the top-level, HR, which has the Unix permissions:

Would anyone happen to have a working configuration for the 7971G-GE

I really need to get the child who signs my paycheck his "pretty screen."

I did some googleing for any plugins that might provide this but came up
empty handed. I also spent some time working on creating a plugin that
would provide this, but ran into problems and had to go back to get some
real work done to justify the paycheck.
So, now my questions for the community is...
1. Does anyone know of a plugin that already provides this?
2. If not, does this seem like it should be possible, or am I missing
something that makes this fundamentally impossible?
3. If it is possible, is it a worthwhile feature that other''s...

need-to-know principles. Once you are no longer tasked then you are
effectively retired, even if still employed, until re-tasked. Once
you are more-or-less permanently 'untasked' then the only question is
which budget does your paycheck offset.
This is not to say that I disagree with the underlying point, only
that it is a bit overly selective in its formulation.

Meanwhile banks like Chase charge poor people $12.00 a month just have
checking and push debit card paychecks on low income jobs where they
charge just for the poor to check how much they have on it.
That's not criminal though, it's taking from the poor so the rich can
buy new cars and cruises but it's not criminal so there is no reason why
we should scoff at that.

OK, I would like to sponsor Dovecot for three months for $1,000/month
I am just a small business and this is basically coming straight out of
my own paycheck, but we use the product internally and I like it and
would like to see it continue to develop at the rate it has done.
Although this is just a small token of my appreciation, I hope that
other businesses who are using dovecot will step up and at least match
this contribution. It's less tha...

Quickbooks Pro 2000 on Win4Lin
Has anyone been able to make the Quickbooks Delivery Agent work under
Win4Lin? I find that it slows the system down to a crawl and it never
completes it's task. Removing the Delivery Agent is not a great solution
because Quickbooks won't perform certain functions, like writing a
paycheck, without it. Has anyone tried Quickbooks Pro 2001 under Win4Lin?
does it work any better?
Thanks,
Josh

BSafe toolkits for implementing RSA public key algorithm
Has anyone had any experience with any of the BSafe toolkits that are

like to use one of RSA's toolkits in a port of a Windows OpenSSH client that
I am working on, in order to avoid any licensing issues from RSA. Can anyone
recommend a good toolkit? I understand that there a number of them, such as

Can I use EXPORT in a def file to export Dll's functions?
As it looks from the title, I found that the wineHQ source code has another way to export functions from DLL files and it calls the definition files like:
FileName.spec
I used to use the:
FileName.def
Of course under XP.
So is it something refers to the compiler and it must respect this order or I can use the old school style I'm used to back in the days, because I find it kinda annoying

Mapping to BigDecimals instead of Floats
Hi everyone,
I''m new to Rails and Ruby, and have been working my way through the Pickaxe
and Agile Rails books for the last week or so. With a background in payroll
apps I found that the default ActiveRecord mapping of decimal columns to
float variables really bothered me! Financial calcs need high levels of
accuracy and floats just don''t give you that.

with getting a backend into LLVM trunk is that it requires a demonstrated

maintaining the backend and contributing to the community, and these being

with the community expectations). (The reason for these requirements is
