Question about ssh-add...
...y "OpenSSH ssh-add" doesn't support the -p (pipe) option of "Ssh-1.2.X shh-add"? I used it several time within scripts, like ./whisperpassphrase | ssh-add -p Well, I know this is some kind of security by obscurity, but this has been proven to be handy. INBOX stored in AFS
...this file is still open R/W. My questions: Is it possible to have a configuration, that the INBOX file is not left open when stat-ing this file? Or is it possible to open the INBOX file R/W only when it us locked? Or is it necessary to modify the code? flagging glm models with warnings
...ut how to ask R if an error occurred for a particular model. I run all 250 models at once and then want to see which of them produced errors. Any suggestions on how to do this? Or suggestions on how to make my models not experience any warnings or errors? Thanks so much! Caroline E. Non-Executable Stack Patch
I was wondering if there's any non-executable stack patch for FreeBSD's kernel. I searched in google but all I got was some questions in freebsd-security back from 2001 and an answer saying someone heard about a project like this, but no information at all. Is there any patch like PaX or Openwall available for FreeBSD? I dont want to discuss if its useless or not since there're a

ActiveRDF and Rails
Hi, I tried out the ActiveRDF library for accessing RDF data from Ruby and it worked very well. Now I''m interested to combine ActiveRDF and Rails by using e.g. the YARS data-store instead of ActiceRecord in a RoR project. For this I downloaded the ''browserdf'' example. Now I need some help or instruction to get this example work under Rails. May I have to adjust
