Predicting complicated GAMMs on response scale
...but variable(s) found have 248 rows Is it possible to predict a more complicated model like this on the response scale? How can I incorporate a correlation structure and variance structure in a dataframe when using the predict function for GAMMs? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Xen reboots on dom-U disk stress...
Hi all I tried to run bonnie++ disk stresser in dom-U, who''s disk is backed with non-local (on nfs) loop-back file. The machine rebooted pretty quickly. So, how do I tell what''s barfing? Is it Xen? Is it dom-0 (nfs or loop-back)? I looked in dom-0''s /var/log/messages and didn''t see any obvious record of a dom-0 whoopsie (but is that the right place to look

Newbie problem: disk error launching FC3 in non-0 domain
Hi again I have a minimal Fedora Core 3 image running fine as domain 0 (thanks and sorry for the previous FAQ query) using both the standard install ramdisk image, and the FC3 ramdisk image downloaded from xen sourceforge. However, I can''t get it running in a non-zero domain. In brief, I have a full FC3 installed on /dev/hda1, which I typically use as my domain 0 OS. Then I have a

Man pages for Linux distributions
Given that R is being written under the GNU GPL, a corollary process would be sufficient documentation of R (in packaged distributions) that explains HOW-TO install, use, and extend R. An example of documentation that is extensive is Perl which has documentation under the MAN pages in Unix,Linux as well as in POD (Plain Old Documents) files. The key to R advocacy is documentation.
