Puppet Forge: Are my expectations misaligned?
...think that my expectations of the forge are not 100% aligned, or I''m still rubbish with puppet!
I imagine the forge to be used in the following scenario/way
I''m in a situation where I need to provision package X in a particular way. I fire up my terminal:
$ puppet module search packageX
Searching https://forge.puppetlabs.com ...

I check the following link : http://vault.centos.org/7.4.1708/updates/x86_64/Packages/, and can't find kernel-3.10.0-693.17.6.el7 and kernel-devel-3.10.0-693.17.6.el7 rpm files.
Where can I download the kernel from CentOS website?

[patch] giving library() a 'version' argument
I've made a small enhancement to R that would help developers better control what versions of code we're using where. Basically, to load a package in R, one currently does:
library(whateverPackage)
and with the enhancement, you can ensure that you're getting at least version X of the package:
library(whateverPackage, version=3.14)

Freebsd + Puppet 3.2.2 pkg_add -f ?
Shouldn''t pkg_add be using the -r option for package management? I worked
around by forcing the client to use ports instead, but it stinks. Any
thoughts?
