PCI passthrough of cciss HBA
...list to confirm that my
problem analysis makes sense or whether I missed something:
We have a HP ML370G6 server with VT-x and VT-d enabled in the BIOS. It is
equipped with two Smart Array HBAs - one connected to the HDD array
(SmartArray P800) and one connected to an LTO tape drive (SmartArray
P212). Both controllers use the same driver on the dom0 (cciss).
dom0 OS = CentOS 5.3 Linux 2.6.18-164.el5xen x86_64
Xen = 3.4.1
My plan was to use PCI passthrough to give a domU unrestricted access to
the tape drive. However, I have been unable to get pciback to seize the
P212 controller at boot ti...

Do I have to do something special to have the new hpsa driver look for

Interactions in a nls model
I am interested in testing two similar nls models to determine if the
lines are statistically different when fitted with two different data
sets; one corn, another soybean. I know I can do this in linear models
by testing for interactions. See Introductory Statistics with R by
Dallgaard p212-218 for an example. I have two different data sets I am
comparing to lai. ci.re should have very little difference between corn
and soybean, while ci.gr, there should be a difference. If I use the
simplistic form described in Dallgaard (see example in code below) it
does not work correctly. Wha...

ZFS on a 11TB HW RAID-5 controller
...nSolaris Developer 134 on a 11TB HW RAID-5 virtual disk, but after the installation I can only use one 2TB disk, and I cannot partition the rest. I realize that maximum partition size is 2TB, but I guess the rest must be usable. For hardware I am using HP ProLiant DL180G6, 12 1TB disks connected to P212 controller in RAID-5. Could someone direct me or suggest what I am doing wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Dusan

GXP-2000 MultiPurpose Keys
Is it possible to program the multi-purpose keys on a GXP-2000
remotely via a TFTP configuration file? If so, what are the
parameters to put in the configuration file?
Thanks,
Daniel
