Large hard disk support in FreeBSD
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hi,
I'd like to put a 60GB hard disk into Gateway 2000 Pentium 150 (from '96 or
'97 or so I think) running FreeBSD 4.8 RELEASE.
Can anybody tell me how successful this is likely to be? Will I be able to use
the full capacity of the drive?
I seem to recall that the trick with large hard disks and old BIOSes is to

Strange Panic During Reboot
I'm getting the following panic during shutdown of a 6.1-PRERELEASE system
cvsupped yesterday. Strangely enabling DDB in the kernel "fixes" the
problem. The computer is an old P120 (which I should probably replace). It
occurs every time when DDB is disabled but when DDB is enabled, it does not
panic.
All buffers synced.

Small linux print server

I was planning to turn an old 486 with an 80M HDD into a print server,

one way choppy sound problem !
Hi all,
I have my asterisk setup as following:
IP 2 x E1
x-lite <-------> Asterisk -------> PSTN
When I place a call from x-lite to PSTN, the quality of the sound in the
direction x-lite -> PSTN is very bad. That is, the voice of the x-lite user,
heard by the PSTN user is choppy and makes communication not very pleasant.
The sound is choppy as if bits of data

GXP-2000 MultiPurpose Keys
Is it possible to program the multi-purpose keys on a GXP-2000
remotely via a TFTP configuration file? If so, what are the
parameters to put in the configuration file?
Thanks,
Daniel
