Have you overclocked your system at all? F at H puts considerable stress on your system and will often find instability in hardware/overclocking even if other stress tests passed (as was my case). I am also running a 1055T. After I truly stabilized my overclock, F at H hasn't crashed since.

I have a CentOS 6 system that has suddenly starting significantly slowing down. It runs a django app with an Apache server and MySQL server. There is plenty of disk space and no process seems to be hogging the memory or CPU. But operations that used to take 5 minutes are now taking hours and hours. Hi, I just started using FLAC and am very impressed. However I have run into a problem with the current (and other) Windows executables. If I encode with a higher compression level (say 7 or 8) I stand a high probability of BSODing or just plain rebooting. Strangely enough this behavious seems to go away if I use the default 5 compression level. Has anyone else had problems

...I was using 8.1 RC1 originally. When I installed it, I searched for, and found Mesa, and installed that (which I have yet to see how much good it did.... I've always had problems with standard Linux programs that use openGL). After upgrading to a Club 3D Radeon 5770 overclocked edition i was finally able to get some good fps out of wow... 90 => 110 FPS in Stanglethorn Vale with all the graphics option to their lowest setting possible. However last night the game installed patch 3.3.0 => 3.3.2.... Afer doing that upgrade the game actually runs at about 60 FPS now...

Hi there im new at the whole thing of linux, and newer in Wine. I mostly use Wine to run World of Warcraft in Ubuntu 11.04 i finally got the game to run correctly, and with no sound/video problems. ...time in kernel mode. The cause can be a number of things, including overloading or a bug in the kernel - or sometimes a hardware issue. Are you seeing any other possibly hardware related errors in the logs? Do you have the 'sensors' package installed and configured - is everything OK? (An overclocked CPU or a low voltage/bad PSU can cause this sort of thing.) Is the system heavily loaded when you get these errors? Not just with processes, but memory as well. (One of the hung processes is a kernel paging process.) P.
