[LLVMdev] Planned service outtages
Hi LLVMers! Due to events beyond our control, the LLVM website and all associated functionality, possibly extending to the mailing list, will not be available for a (hopefully) very short time this Monday, December 22nd, as our building switches its electrical power suppliers. Furthermore, as our servers are being relocated to a new shiny facility, you may notice about a day of downtime on

wctdm and two tdm cards
Greetings, I have a server I'm working on here with two tdm cards in it. 4 FXS and 4FX0. Both cards work fine on their own. The problem lies with using both in the system at once. I have verified the IRQ's are fine. I have tried switching the slots the cards reside in, no luck though. I am using ACPI but not APM. I am using gentoo latest, with vanilla 2.6(.10) kernel and udev. CVS as of

[Bridge] Bridge Performance 2
Hi there, I was asking this question already a few days go, but I'm not sure whether anyone noticed due to the mailserver outtage. So I'm just re-posting it, sorry, but it's an important issue for me, I would be glad to hear some insight on this. The question is regarding throughput performance using linux 2.4.5.1. My setup is very simple : I have two laptops with a wireless card.

"valid userse = @anyGroup" breaks samba
Hello, first of all, thanks to everyone who has responded to my questions lately. All pointers are as always much appreciated. That said, I have now narrowed down (and solved, sort of) the problem with the mysterious "freeze effect"[1] I've been posting about. To put it in short terms: X = original smb.conf that's worked fine for a long time up until a power outtage efter

IAX Provider Recommendation - Unlimited
I am shopping around for an IAX provider that provides both outbound minutes and an inbound DID for a flat fee. I have been looking at TELIAX. http://teliax.com/ Does anyone have any experience with them? What codecs do they support? Inband or 2833 dtmf? Voice quality and reliability? Any comments and/or other recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

MGE Ellipse 500 USB power failure problem
Hello, I have an MGE Ellipse 500 UPS for about 8 years, connected to a local OpenBSD server through usb, running nut-2.2.1. I used to occasionally drain the UPS battery to see if the local server was shutting down cleanly my desktop PC and it was working OK. Suddenly, there was a power failure last week, the UPS was serving the two PCs (the server and the client) for 30 secs and then it went

the files when you attempt to rename it. This is caused by Window's Media Player loading the file when you click on it. To work around this I had to go into Windows Explorer and change the folder options from "Enable Web Contents in Folders" to "Use Windows Classic Folders". This way, Windows Media player won't load the file when you click on it. Just trying to save

Yager on ZFS
Not sure if it''s been posted yet, my email is currently down... http://weblog.infoworld.com/yager/archives/2007/10/suns_zfs_is_clo.html Interesting piece. This is the second post from Yager that shows solaris in a pretty good light. I particularly like his closing comment: "If you haven''t checked out ZFS yet, do, because it will eventually become ubiquitously implemented
