FLAC Website
Hello FLAC developers,
I'm one of the Xiph webmasters and I wanted to get some input from you guys
for how you feel about some ideas that were being kicked around. There is
some need to redesign the Xiph.org website into something that is more
useful, organized, and accessible. There is also a push to redo parts of
the Xiph branding with new logos, mottos, etc to clear up consumer

questions on local customized R distribution CD
Hello all!
I hope this is the right place to post this question.
The Oregon Chapter of ASA is working with local high school teachers as one of its outreaching program.
We hope to use and test R as teaching tools.
So, we think that a menu system (like R commander) with a few packages and a bit simplified installation instruction need to be developed.
The main question is:
1)
Is it OK to develop a customized CD-ROM distribution of R with pre-se...

Re: Website
...peex.org/
I don't want to see us become a monolithic "pod culture". A banner at
the top, as we've done in the past, is thus a good plan IMHO.
I also feel it important to seperate "technical" from "public". I'd
like, ie, ogg.org to be used for a public outreach site, ala mp3.com.
Much like what vorbis.com is being used for now.
I think that vorbis.com/.org, theora.org, etc should be media outlet
sites. Splash and boom, look how awesome it is! This is how you use
it! Wow, look at all this software. ogg.org could be a frontend for
this.

Is there a way to suppress that statistic?
Question 2) The table will have multiple columns, each representing a
different location. Is there a way to include Tukey's HSD at the bottom of
each column?
Thank you.

mapstraction as org for GSOC?
Google Summer of Code has announced the opening of applications for
Mentor organizations. Pamela Fox mentioned awhile ago that Mapstraction
may be a good fit.

I would like to brainstorm if we have identifiable projects, and
preferably even interested students, that would like to work together on
putting in some applications. A couple of initial possibilities:
