Missing 'HAVE_SYS_ACL_H'
I'm building 3.0.14a on Mandrake 10.2, trying to use the same config as my other servers (3.0.11), but ACLs are not working. In checking the outout of smbd -b, I see this line is missing: System Headers: HAVE_SYS_ACL_H .... But I am specifying ./configure --with-acl-support ... Adding an acl using 'setfacl -m 'NTDOMAIN+NTUSER' file does successfully add an ACL for the NT

xtable() with booktabs option problem
I could have sworn that yesterday xtable(file, booktabs = TRUE) was giving me toprule , midrule and bottomrule outout. Today : library(xtable) aa <- table( sample(letters[1:9], 100, replace = TRUE)) xtable(aa, booktabs = TRUE) gives me \begin{table}[ht] \centering \begin{tabular}{rr} \hline & V1 \\ \hline a & 15 \\ b & 11 \\ c & 13 \\ d &

Can't get CyberPower UPS to work with Raspberry Pi 4
...rogress test.battery.start.deep - Start a deep battery test test.battery.start.quick - Start a quick battery test test.battery.stop - Stop the battery test Which looks very incomplete to me. OTOH, its not a very big UPS but neither is the pi. I have tested that, and it shuts off long before it outouts a LB signal. But as the old saw says, its not my job to blow the whistle. I'm just happy that it protects the pi while the Generac is being started. Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo. Commands Charles. Since the pi is a very low drain bit of kit, I expected to be able to lengthen the shutdown delay, to at least use 50% of the battery, which should be several hours but its stuck at 2 minutes....

funfits (PR#137)
Hi, I spotted an inconsistency between the output of funfits under R, more specifically "nnreg", and the one obtained under S-plus. Notice the difference in the "Root MSE", "GVC" and "GVC cost=2". As a check mark, I am also including the data summaries, confirming that I was in fact using the same data set. Here's my output from both systems:

IAX / Firefly handshake problem
I had a working 1.0.9 asterisk installation and tried to get a Firefly IAX phone to register, but it was failing. I upgraded to asterisk 1.2.5 and the PBX is working fine, but the IAX phone still won't connect. Below is my iax.conf and the output from setting iax2 debug while the phone tries to connect. Could somebody please give me some pointers? This doesn't seem to be a normal

Flushing the R output buffer.
flusHi, I am connecting R to a PHP web script. The first effort attempted to use a named pipe but gave up on that because PHP could not read any data from the named pipe. I changed to using a temp file but it also has problems. It appears that the file to which R's output is redirected is not recieving any output until the pipe connection form PHP is closed. I think this means that R is

Pacemaker bugs?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi! I think I stumbled on at least two bugs in the CentOS 7.2 pacemaker package, though I'm not quite sure if or where to report it. I'm using the following package to set up a 2-node active/passive cluster: [root at clnode1 ~]# rpm -q pacemaker pacemaker-1.1.13-10.el7_2.4.x86_64 The installation is up-to-date on both nodes as of the
