Pre-built binary LLVM 3.9.1 for Ubuntu 14.04 is missing
Hi, I'm Ryo Ota. According to http://releases.llvm.org/download.html, Pre-built binary LLVM 3.9.1 for Ubuntu 14.04 is missing. In other versions(=4.0.0, 3.9.0, 3.8.1,...), pre-built binaries for Ubuntu 14.04 are available. I was wondering if someone would make pre-built binary of 3.9.1 for Ubuntu 14.04. Sincerely, Ryo -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

What is the proper usage of LLVMContext?
Hi, I'm Ryo Ota. I have two questions about `llvm::LLVMContext`. Q1) What is the difference between the following (A)`my_context` and (B)`global_context`? Do I have to create a LLVMContext by myself? Or use `getGlobalContext()`? Could you tell me what situation needs a LLVMContext which is created by myself such as (A)? (A) { llvm::LLVMContext my_context; // codes using only my_context (get

Documentation error: wrong permissions given in FAQ
Hi, I discovered yesterday that the instructions given at http://www.openssh.org/faq.html#3.14 regarding the correct permissions for the authorized_keys file mistakenly recommend chmod'ing the file to 600 when it should be 644. The requirement for public key authentication to work is in fact that ~/.ssh/authorized_keys is readable (but not writable) by group and other, not just owner. Someone

How to write the same things as `opt` command in C++ API
Hi, I'm Ryo Ota. I'm using LLVM 3.8.1. I have a quesion about inlining function in C++ API. I'd like to inline some functions in a module in the same way as `opt -inline` command. But my C++ code didn't work what I want to do. For example, by using `opt -inline` command,`main.ll` is converted into the `inlined.ll`(`opt` command worked what I want to do) [main.ll (Not inlined)]

Orative
Has anyone heard anything about these guys? Anyone seen anything like this? http://www.orative.com/solutions.php It's seems very cool, basically uses GPRS as a digital overlay on your mobile phone for additional functionality such as presence and IM though I'm sure they have some other functionality (voicemail access, call announce etc) coming down the pipeline. Any thoughts,

Where is nfsiod now?
Hello. I thought rc used to start nfsiod if you set nfs_cilent_enable back years ago. Now, on my 7.1-RELEASE machine, it sets up a couple of sysctls in /etc/rc.d/nfsclient script but not nfsiod. Is nfsiod obsolete by now? It is still on the system; does it still improve nfs performance? Thanks, Hiro

Over quota
Is there any way to still be able to login/delete email via dovecot-imap when the user's filesystem quota is exceeded? We just moved from courier where this was still possible but now a user over quota can login but cannot get a list of messages and the logs show this: May 27 10:24:45 pop1.gwtc.net dovecot: POP3(cody at howaboutnow.net) [64.251.165.209]:

Somewhat off topic: Building Android on CentOS 5.4
I asked this question on android-platform at googlegroups.com but never received a response. I suspect most (if not all) people compiling the Android platform are using some version of Ubuntu ... hence the lack of response. I would not normally cross post but am hopeful that another CentOS 5.4 user (not on the android-platform forum) might have successfully built the Android platform. I would

FreeBSD 4.x EoL
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 There has been a lot of discussion on these two mailing lists about the upcoming EoL of FreeBSD 4.x which I mentioned in my email entitled "HEADS UP: FreeBSD 5.3, 5.4, 6.0 EoLs coming soon". Now that everybody (hopefully) has had their say, I'd like to offer some background and explanation. The concept of "security branches"

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list. I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without modifications. How did I try it? Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock ) Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee prep-out.log The build failed at the end: Processing files: kernel-xenU-devel-2.6.9-67.0.20.EL Checking
