There is the bug # 11756 that solves a similar problem, but the bugzilla says "Version 3.0",

Estimate region of highest probabilty density
Estimate region of highest probabilty density
Dear R-community
I have data consisting of x and y. To each pair (x,y) a z value (weight) is assigned. With kde2d I can estimate the densities on a regular grid and based on this make a contour plot (not considering the z-values). According to an earlier post in the list I adjusted the kde2d to kde2d.weighted (see code below) to estimate the

Samba 3.2 Ldap problem
Hi,
I've running a samba 3.0.22-13.30 server in standalone mode (security=user) for quite a while. It's authenticated against an openLdap and works great, say Server A.
A few days ago I've installed OpenSuSE 11 Beta 2 in another server, it came with samba 3.2.0-18, so as I'm very lazy I copied the smb.conf file from the working server to the new one with little modifications

mail server in dmz
Hi, in a three interface firewall I have
eth0, loc, 10.1.5.1/16
eth1, int, 200.41.61.228/29
eth2, dmz, 192.168.1.1/24
(un)fortunately I got a group of public ip?s to use, so here is my problem
in the dmz I have 192.168.1.3 redirected from eth1 alias 200.41.61.226 (a web server,
works perfect).
I am trying to set up a mail server also, a different machine, so I can?t use proxyarp, as

Chrome not allowing mixed content anymore
Hi.
With its 80th version, Chrome stopped serving non-secure resources on https
pages. This affected the icecast server I run also. I enabled SSL, the
issue with Chrome not playing audio got fixed, but I noticed a major drop
in the number of listeners. As far as I figured out, the listeners that
have the http url in a playlist - listening in winamp, vlc etc. - could
listen no more. Those using

Bug report: "doveadm rename" encodes special characters wrongly in mUTF-7 (in fs)
Hello there,
I'm pretty sure I found a bug in latest Dovecot 2.2.5.5 (EE) when playing with the doveadm command.
Naturally renaming a users mail folder should be done via "doveadm es consistent.
So when using "doveadm rename" trying to rename a folder with special characters e.g. german umlauts like "??" it seems to create the folder wrongly in the filesystem.

i am doing several art projects and i'd like to distribute the free video and audio content just with theora/vorbis codecs using ogg. one of the most important conceptual part of my projects are using/supporting true free standards. so i am very much interested about your opinion on ogm and mkv. i know this mailing list usually on technical issues and i am not a coder but i am very much interested in what xiph does and i follow your list. native firefox support is going to be great for theora and i am wait...

text_field_with_auto_complete and special characters
I have a problem with text_field_with_auto_complete. Everything works
fine except when I type special characters like ?,?,?. They are not
escaped. "oberver_field" has a with-option like this:
:with => "''ort='' + escape($F(''ort''))"
This works fine with umlauts, too. Is there a way to escape the user
input using

Problems with samba AD
Hi there,
?
I'm currently trying samba 4 as an Active Directory Domain Controller on a Debian Jessie server. I don't find a solution to two problems, maybe somebody can help me.
?
First on I can't get anaonymous login (Guest) working. I'm able to log on account nobody by using smbclient, but when trying to logon from a Windows 7 or 8 client, authentification is not working.

[DebugInfo]Crash during building openmpi4.0.0
Hi folks,
While building openmpi.4.0.0(Optimized debug build), using trunk clang we encountered a crash(assertion failure).
Initially assertion seems trivial:

void llvm::DwarfExpression::addFragmentOffset(const llvm::DIExpression*): Assertion `FragmentOffset >= OffsetInBits && "overlapping or duplicate fragments"' failed.

But, narrowing to RC. We discovered

R and Openmpi
Hello,
We have R working with Rmpi/openmpi, but I'm a little worried. Specifically, (a) the -np flag doesn't seem to override the hostfile (it works fine with fortran hello world) and (b) I appear to have twice as many processes running as I think I should.
Rmpi version 0.5.5
Openmpi version 1.1

Chrome not allowing mixed content anymore
For example, in my case, we use several servers with Centovacast, with
several Icecast2 services. Version 2.5 of Icecast2, allows to respond to
http and https connections from the same port, but takes years in beta.
Centovacast does not update its panel, waiting for the final version of
Icecast 2.5 to be released.
Chrome has been warning for months that this would happen in February, but
