Estimating LC50 from a Weibull distribution
I am attempting to estimate LC50 (analogous to LD50, but uses exposure concentration rather than dose) by fitting a Weibull model; but I can't seem to get it to work. From what I can gather, I should be using survreg() from the survival package. The survreg() function relies on time-to-event data; my data result from 96 h exposures (i.e., dead or alive after a fixed period; 96 h). I've

gxp-2000 Asterisk PSTN
Hi, I have Grandstream GXP-2000 connected to Asterisk, and Asterisk has trunk to VSP for PSTN calls. When ever I place local PSTN call, the landline doesn't hang up right away (40 sec), when I hang up the GXP-2000. The GXP-2000 seems to have problems making international calls as well. Where it hangs up soon as the other party picks up. I have used different IP phones, VSP's and etc.

Fit non-linear regressor
Hi R masters, Sorry for first mensage, this is orignal text... y<-c(2.8150,3.5239,4.0980,4.5845,5.0709,5.4824,5.8427,6.3214,6.7349,7.3651) x<-c(37,42,47,52,57,62,67,72,77,82) I need fit R and A in y=f(x)=R*exp(A*x), with minimize sd= sqrt(SRR/(n-2)) where SRR is Sum of the Square of the Residuals and n is number of data points (in this case 10) How do I make this? Thanks in advance

some report on type 3 wav
Dear all, I have a wav file that when I try to encode with the FLAC Frontend, I get "ERROR: unsupported format type 3". When I open it with an audio editor I find it is 44100 / 32 bit. I requantized it to 16 bit using the default dither and then compressed it with FLAC to get a 61 Mbyte file (the original was about 347 Mbyte). Obviously, this altered somewhat the quality, although

Create multiple domains from single saved domain state (is UUID/name fixed?)
Hi, I would like to save a running domain (ie. disk + memory) and be able to restore it multiple times creating duplicates of the orignal domain all starting from the same state. Use case: I'm building a task-processing system for use in a CI flow. I want to run multiple VMs in parallel using the same image (always starting from the same state). And to avoid needlessly booting between each

[LLVMdev] Re:question about Insert callInst to call a function in library
Thanks Chris, but the method you mentioned is not what I want. Maybe I didn't make it clear. As you said, /runtime/libprofile is runtime library for the following function. llvm_start_func_profiling llvm_start_block_profiling llvm_start_basic_block_tracing llvm_trace_basic_block And those above functions can be inserted into basic block etc for getting profile. However, those

[LLVMdev] Basic Block / CFG Deep Copy?
Does LLVM offer any way of obtaining a deep copy of a CFG, that is all the basic blocks of a function and their instructions. I'm asking because I would like to implement continuations in my VM and I need to create a modified version of some functions. I thought a simple way of doing this would be to modify a copy of the code generated for the orignal function. This would be simpler than

splitting dataset based on variable and re-combining
I have a dataset and I wish to use two different models to predict. Both models are SVM. The reason for two different models is based on the sex of the observation. I wish to be able to make predictions and have the results be in the same order as my original dataset. To illustrate I will use iris: # Take Iris and create a dataframe of just two Species, setosa and versicolor, shuffle them

[Flac-users] viewing the fingerprint?
An enthusiastic FLAC user on another list to which I subscribe said that FLAC has a function to display on screen the stored fingerprint that a FLAC file has of its source WAV. That sounds wonderful, because it allows a user to see whether two differing FLAC files might come from the same WAV but have been compressed with different sets of options, and therefore they would decompress to identical

VT-x not found..
Hi Everyone, I upgraded my CentOS 5.5 to Xen 3.4.2 using this guide: http://www.syntaxtechnology.com/2010/01/upgrade-xen-3-0-on-centos-5-4-x86_64-to-xen-3-4-2/ Now, using the new kernel that it gave me, the system doesn''t seem to be able to detect vt-x.. In virt-manager, Local Install Media and Network Boot are greyed out.. Any ideas? Thanks

But when I run "rake remote_exec ACTION=setup_lighty" from the local app root it has no effect. It should prompt for a password for at least throw an error? I just get returned to the DOS prompt. Dovecot (unofficial) patches
Dear list, As a recent dovecot addict, I'm a bit puzzled by the sheer amount of patches available. I have not seen the history of these patches and I could not find a README explainng the patches. Are all these personal wishes/nice to have things or are they (to be) incorporated in dovecot-final? I use rpmbuild to create new rpms from the latest tarball but in that process still several
