Right. This is why I said "try this with a real client". mp3 metadata is
inline, not in the HTTP headers.

TDM400P??
...andard phone with caller id, no
wall plug - $14
2: 2.4Ghz radioshack single line cordless phone with caller id (looks
similar to uniden phones)
The system has a minimal server install of RH 9 with all patches
There seems to be a problem with the (not "my") TDM400P hardware.
Here is the origional problem:
Sometimes there is a clean dialtone.
Sometimes there is a loud crackling sound over the dialtone.
Eventually, over the course of 2-4 hook transitions, the TDM40B fails
consistantly with the message:
"Power alarm on module N, resetting!"
where N is the number of the module that...

Narrow escape with FAULTED disks
...ee what it made of it.
The disk was ONLINE, and it''s vdisk buddies were unavailable.
Ok, so I moved the disks into different bays and booted from the snv_134 cdrom.
Ran zpool import and the zpool came back with everything online.
That was encouraging, so I exported it and booted from the origional 132 boot drive.
Well, it came back, and at 1:00AM I was able to get back to the origional issue I was chasing.
So, don''t give up hope when all hope appears to be lost.
Mark.
Still an Open_Solaris fan keen to help the community achieve a 2010 release on it''s own.

It seems to work ok with the same audible quality as a
standard sampling rate. Is there any way to test this?
Will superimposing an inverse wave over the origional
produce a meaningfull result? Thanks for your time,

Applying game patches.
.... I checked out the app database first and the signs were
good, my version of Linux (Debian Sarge) was reported as working
(although the installer had been tested)
I ran the installer, and it appeared to work fine (although it only
asked for the 1st disk) but when I try and run it, it asks for the
origional disk. I can see why the copy protection might not work under
Wine, so I go and grab the latest DoW patch (and the one it requires)
because they remove the requirement to have the CD in the drive, but
they also don't install, the pre-requisite patch says it is unable to
find and required files...

to run.
I'n installed the game on a Windows laptop (that's not up to running
the game) and copied that across. When I try and run it, the game
either complains that there is no cd in the drive, or that I must
insert the origional CD, this is not a copy or a download, it is an
origional CD :-(
Am I missing a trick here? I'm using Wine 0.9.18-1 from Debian testing

altering revert effect based on if dropped on given droppable?
...en droppable?
What I need to do is when an image is dragged onto a droppable image I
want the drop image to be replaced with the drag image, the drag image
to fade out and then reappear where it was at the start of the drag, as
opposed to the draggable scrolling across the page back to where it was
origionally if it wasn''t dropped in the correct place
this is my droppable code:

hoverclass: ''drophover'',

vcut breaks song index ? XMMS search fails
Hello
I have experienced some problems with vcut
(media-sound/vorbis-tools-1.0-r1 package from Gentoo/Linux).
I have a long live record I have encoded in OGG (maybe it would have
been easier to cut the WAV file and encode the parts, but still). The
file was encoded with oggenc from the same package as vcut.
I have therefore tried to use vcut to split the long OGG file in
several smaller files.

problem with trustrpid

is setup the call has the following sip headers:

Remote-Party-ID: "From Phone"
<sip:5147714203 at 10.0.0.24>;privacy=off;screen=no.
Shouldnt the Remote-Party-ID stay what I origionally set it to?
in sip.conf for the phone I have set "trustrpid=yes"
and for our provider I have "sendrpid=yes"
I am using asterisk 1.6.0.10

yes there is:
go to your diablo ii installation dir. ( Program Files\Diablo ii )
then type something like:
wine D2VidTst.exe
you can now select what kind

Asterisk SIP calls failing - not a proxy? What of RTP codec transcoding?
...o the
called party in the INVITE. This is bad.
The documentation suggests that Asterisk terminates all RTP streams and
does codec transcoding to make negotiated calls to external SIP
endpoints - very proxy like (the behavior I'm looking for).
How do I configure Asterisk to "hide" origionating SIP phone addresses,
masquerading as itself instead?
I guess my only option is going to be an Asterisk install on the public
Internet with *no* private connection and some kind of SIP proxy on my
firewall firewall (behind which the phones will sit). All phones will
need to register with t...

Splitting a Vector
...the (I think you could call it nested) model. One
vector therefore should be aligned with the subspacespace defined by the
other variables colinear with it, and the other will be residual, and so
orthogonal to the subspace of the colinear variables. Then by including
these two variables in the origional model - the one that showed the
order dependency, you can see how much explanatory power the othogonal
part of the order dependent variable has, at different orders, and in
principle it shouldn't change, but the vector made from the part
co-aligned with the co-variates, will change as the...

Moving wine's C: drive to another file system
I have a question regarding moving Wine's C:/ drive to another file system. My hard drive is currently partitioned into 3 primaries. I have a NTFS partition that Windows is on, a Ext4 with Ubuntu, and a third, larger, FAT32 partition that I use to hold cross-OS data (music, pictures, documents ect).
I have had infinite difficulty getting wine to run apps that I installed (through wine) to my

Re: Problems with Excel & MS Word files (EVEN - still ANY ideas?)
...given smbd process hangs, it appears as though the process
itself is tied up in some sort of loop or something and becomes
un-responsive; the client tries to auto-reconnect and does so spawning a new
'duplicate' session to the first. Problem herein is two fold; first, the
smbd process they origionally conencted with is still running, and still
maintains the file locks for the file they are accessing, secondly, the smbd
process maintains 100% cpu time (as the O/S allows anyhow, not lagging the
servers thankfully).
So, we keep running into an issue (usually with Microsoft Excel or Word

time out issues with icecast2
I was a bit confused by that statement as well Lee. I've done a bit of work
with mp3PRO using a source developed from scratch and a version of the
original Icecast modified only trivially to deal with specific metadata
requirements.
There is a very high level explanation of mp3PRO at the
http://www.mp3prozone.com/basics.htm site. At the risk of being somewhat
incomplete i will add:
1) The
