[LLVMdev] lli supports different targets than llc?
Hi,
Is it normal/expected for `llc` to support a different set of targets
than `lli`?
I have a hello.ll on which this works:
$ llc -mtriple=armv7a-linux-gnueabihf hello.ll
# OK, generates hello.s
But this doesn't:
$ lli -mtriple=armv7a-linux-gnueabihf hello.ll
# lli: error creating EE: No available targets are compatible with
this triple, see -version for the available targets.

Transferring ownership of R-managed buffer
I have a use case where I would like to create an SEXP around an existing

SEXP x = somefunc(SXPTYPE, n, p); // ????

[LLVMdev] LLVM parsers for popular languages? - Python, Rust, Go
Thanks, happy to of confirmed.
With that in mind, will use the AST modules provided by the languages (with
the exception of libclang for C++).
Antoine: Am aware of Numba, nice job there BTW. So is there a [decoupled]
LLVM parser which I can use to read Python files and analyse objects
(including computing their attributes in OO and setattr scenarios)?

3.8 was branched in early January though.
It has some of the work-in-progress for ThinLTO, it “could” work in simple cases I
