error in ordgee
I am trying to used "ordgee" from "geepack" for an ordinal dataset.
When I write the code it returns
"Warning message:In binomial(link) : use of binomial(link=link) is deprecated" ,
but the program runs.
Even when I run your example for "ohio" and "respdis", it returns the same e...

Fitting a kind of Proportional Odds Modell using nlme, polr, lrm or ordgee
...h intercept for the
i_th study. A "normal" Proportional-Odds model
has only alpha_k which represents the k-th intercept without any
associaton to the study.
I tried to fit it by using the functions of Pinheiro/ Bates nlme, nls,
gnls;
polr by Venables/Ripley ;
lrm by Harrell
ordgee by Yan;
but I came to no conclusion.
I would be very happy if anyone could help me.
Thank you VERY VERY much in advance.
Kindly regards,
Henning Henke

Ordinal GEE model
Hi,
I am trying to fit a ordinal GEE model using ordgee {geepack}. In order to check the validity of the function, I specified the correlation structure as independence (i.e. constr = "independence") and compared the result with that using polr {MASS}.
Because a GEE model with an independent working correlation structure is equivalent to an...
