Hi All; If I need to set the opermode to King Saudi Arabia, what the name I have to use? For example, to set it for kuwait then I use opermode=KUWAIT. So what will be for Saudi Arabia? Any advise? Regards Bilal

Hi, Has anyone in australia got asterisk running on FreeBSD? how would i pass the opermode=AUSTRALIA parameter to the wcfxs.ko module as kldload doesnt let you pass parameters to the module like modprobe in Linux. I am finding that I have to increase the txgain in zapata.conf to 8 when my X101P is connected to my BT phone line, otherwise people can hardly hear me. This then gives echo issues. Do other people have the same problem on BT lines. I was wondering if I should give BT a call and get them to increase the gain on the line. Hi! I've bought a Wildcard X101P card to play a bit with asterisk. I'm just trying to place a call to a number, wait until the receiver takes the call, and then play one of the .gsm sound files. I'm in France, so first I tried modprobing wcfxo with opermode=1, but the DAA mode remained FCC, so I changed the opermode variable in wcfxo.c to 1 by hand and recompiled & reinstalled the driver. Hi! The X100P is working - partly. I can make outgoing calls. But the card has got a problem detecting incoming calls. Even in verbose mode I don't see any hint that the card detects a call. At the moment I'm using the card behind my old ISDN telephone system. Could it be a problem with the line voltage? Can I adjust anything when loading the kernel module? Bye! Michael

When I connect the X100P to an internal analog port of a small legacy home-switch, the problem doesn't seem to occur, either. The result is that if the caller hangs up just before asterisk answers the line, it still picks up the line and records dialtone in my voice mail. Is there any way to fix this?
