The easiest way if you have only very few users is to just copy the files into correct place. now ices fails to start
Okay I was poking around the logs, getting ready to test the yp server update, and then I decided to check the configs. I still had localhost set for the hostname, so I changed it to my real hostname. Now I get this in my ices.log when trying to start (although icecast is started fine): [2003-06-05 12:27:00] EROR stream/ices_instance_stream Failed initial connect to myreal.hostname.net:8000

Hi, Hm, the string inserts are different, too. Any encoding issues? Your user name uses extended ASCII, too, right? Not sure if that''s significant or not. I''ve cc''d the win32utils-devel list to see if anyone has any ideas. Thanks, Dan botp wrote: > On 12/4/07, Daniel Berger <djberg96 at gmail.com> wrote: >> Can you tell us which record numbers in

Dovecot not handling r/o mailboxes completely, and problem with ACL as a workaround
First of all, I think dovecot is really fantastic and I have thanks for all the hard work. I think it will be the best fit for my ~5000 users when I have it setup completely. We normally have approx 500 concurrent IMAP connections during the day. I am trying to convert from courier-imap to dovecot, but I have an issue with public namespace folders that are not writable by certain users.

4 GB USB flash disk with FAT ok, with ext3 corrupted files
...normal, and normally accessible. I tried them both on two completely different computers with very different hardware, and different Linux versions, and the effect is the same. One of the computers is a desktop with and old AMD K7 Clayton motherboard with only old USB1.1: VT82xxxxx UHCI USB 1.1 Controller, and Debian sid with 2.6.18-4-k7 kernel from Debian. The other computer is a much newer AMD Athlon64 HP laptop with USB2.0 port and SuSE 10.2. Did anyone observe anything similar with any USB flash drives (FAT OK, ext3 corrupted)? I've put files on these disks on FAT32 and run fsck.vfat, and...
