I need help with my mail client: was [OCLUG] running cron on UTC

At the bottom of this email I'll put a copy of a typical full header on
a post from me.
Here's the symptom: Every time I reply to an OCLUG post, Claws-Mail
loads the *To* with oclug at mailman.oclug.org and the *CC* with
oclug at penguin.oclug.org. Unless I remember to delete the CC, this makes
me double post every time, and must be quite annoying to you all. This

unexpected --exclude pattern behaviours with glob wildcards
...im, here are some problems:
---------
Problem 1 - unexpected consequence of replacing / with **
---------
The following exclude works because the explicit slash causes a match

exclude fails because the lack of any slash makes the match apply only
to last...

rJava Broken on Linux + R 3.4
Hi Dirk,
It was unclear to me to which extent it is a
kernel/security patch vs (r)Java issue.
In any case, this is really problematic for me as it prevents me de
facto from running some key R packages for my daily work.
I'll post again if I see some solution (other than downgrading the
kernel) somewhere.
Meanwhile, any suggestions for a fix is welcome.
Cheers
Lorenzo

libsmbclient and closing connections
Hi,
Is there a way to close a connection that was created using
smbc_init/smbc_open?
I have written an apache module that authenticates the user against
the samba permissions of the dir/file being accessed. Everything works
great, except that the samba connections to dot get closed when the http
connection dies. This becomes a major problem after a while as all kinds
