Extension and phone management best practices??
...d have its sip.conf entries under [1234].. While this seems to work it does mean you are staying with a traditional model where extension is staticly mapped to the phone and the uesr is the variable.. It would appear to me a better solution to map extension to user and make the phone the variable.. Obvoiusly this has its issues as well, namely a slightly more complicated extensions.conf and I may be missing a better solution to this management all together.. So I am asking for input from the community.. What have you found to be the best option? Thanks.. -- __________________________________________...

OSX MacPort Install 1.0.1 - winecfg problems
...verything seemed to install properly, but the first thing I wanted to check was winecfg to set up the drives a bit differently. It didn't load very well as the first tab of winecfg loads (Application Settings), but the buttons at the bottom don't have labels. None of the other tabs load. Obvoiusly something crashed. Trying to click any of the three buttons at the bottom (or the Add Application button which does at least have text on it) give the following error: X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) Major opcode of failed request: 152 (RENDER) Minor opcod...

Bug: Copying several files to non-directory.
Dear openssh people, Here's something to try: $ echo a >a $ echo b >b $ echo c >c $ $ scp a b c $ $ echo $? 1 $ cat a b c a b b Ouch! Also, for comparison: $ cp a b c cp: copying multiple files, but last argument `c' is not a directory Try `cp --help' for more information. $ rcp a b c rcp: c: Not a directory. $ Note that the cp behavior is specified in SuSv2.

Linux on a USB Drive
Hi, I saw a post you made on a forum quite some time ago about booting linux off a USB drive with compatible bios via ISOlinux. I'm currently trying to do the same thing and keep running into problems with my initrd. This is probably caused by the fact that I don't really know what I'm doing! I was wondering if you found any useful info on the net you could point me in the

Hello! A problem with special characters seemed to me to be a bug. I sent a mail to R-windows at r-project.org concerning the problem (see below). How can I find out, if this is considered as a bug or an error of myself? Which part of FAQs or documentation did I miss to find the answer? thanks in advance Heinz T??chler -------------------- copy of abovementioned mail ---------- to: R-windows

chan_h323 problems....
I have had * installed for a couple of weeks now and am very impressed. I have got Zap, SIP and MGCP working and can call freely between them with just things like transfer still to sort out etc. I then though I would add H.323 support to my working system, having read the previous threads on the subject before I installed I installed the pre-reqs pwlib openh323 gnugk for h.323 gatekeeper
