exporting data to csv file -problem with column names
...ata to a csv the column names are shifted because
the row numbers are being exported as well.
Sample MidPoint Count
1 1 0.025 1
2 1 0.075 3
3 1 0.125 15
Is there a way to exclude the row numbers from the exported csv file?
Or add a column name for row number to keep this from happening?
I obvisouly can go into each csv file and shift the column names over
- but there are going to be a large number of csv files so I with to
automate this.
Thank you

avoiding (another) error
...d still 0.62.2 before.)
This time I am trying the following:
> xy <- list (a= c (1, 2, NA), b= c (2, 3))
> list.name <- "xy"
> get (list.name)$a [is.na (get (list.name)$a)] <- 0
Error: couldn't find function "get<-"
> xy
$a
[1] 1 2 0
$b
[1] 2 3
So obvisouly R does what I would like it to do. How can I get it to do it
without the error? The problem is that I need to do this within a
function.
Thanks for ideas and hints! Regards,

Bug in my code (finding nonzero min)
...each stock for a
particular portfolio, i.e. 0=did not buy, 1=bought. y are the stocks I could
still buy, assuming I have the money, data3[,5] are their cost, so for each
portfolio, i.e. the rows of new.set I have the option to purchase another
stock at a cost listed in the rows of variable remain. Obvisouly the
cheapest stock needs to have a cost>0 in order for me to be allowed to buy
it. My code is intended to weed out portfolios where I could have bought
another stock, by taking budget-portfolio cost - (cheapest available stock)
and subsetting new.set when this is negative, i.e. buying the cheape...

Shell Script Pointers?

sort -f $1/urls > $1/urls.sorted
rm $1/domains
rm $1/urls
mv $1/doamins.sorted $1/domains

Is it obvious I'm new to this? Hehe, I would also love to hear how
people would do this in a more efficient manner because obvisouly this
is pretty sloppy and as I said I haven't tested it yet so it might not
even run?!
Thanks, James ;)

getting the value of a form select
I have been working for a whole week on this problem without success, so
I feel that its now time to give up and ask for some help since it seems
that I am obvisouly missing something...
all I want to do is having a form with a dropdown menu. When the user
select a value from the drop down and sumit the value, this value must
be the new ''active_client''.
Technicaly, when the form is submited from the list page, it calls the

Authentication to Secondary Domain Controller initially fails when PDC is offline

This behaviour is normal. It is Site behaviour. It is AD Sites purpose.
So configuring AD Sites correctly would solve the issue about failover.
DNS issue:
SOA and NS records are used when DNS servers are discussing together but
not when a DNS client is asking for records (execpt for SOA or NS
obvisouly).
SOA and NS records are, in my understanding, used when the DNS server
receive a request for a zone this server does not know. In that specific
case the DNS server must find a name server for that zone, so our DNS
server is asking to upper level for a NS in the mentioned zone.
So, if my understan...
