how to plots two pairwise data sets into a same graph
...=x,col="white") lines(spline(pts,predicted,n=300,method="natural"),type="l",lty=5) However, I also want to plot the corresponding distribution. Then I calculated "fits" for "x-fits". But I want to plot x-fits against fits on the same graph with the obove one. The problem is the number of data points are different for these two data set. This is because one is barplot for frequency and the other is distribution. Anyone has expreience on this? Many thanks! bandwidth limiting - vif "rate" option
...limit the OUTGOING bandwidth with the option "rate=" (e.g. rate=250KB/s) at the vif line in my sxp-file. I have tested it, it is working good, but why it is "only" limiting the outgoing bandwidth ? Is there any easy way to limit the incoming bandwidth too, something like the obove option ? My network setup is bridged. Thank you in advance! Greetings, Eduard _______________________________________________________________________ Jetzt neu! Allocating 64 kbits/s out of 256 kbits/s for one LAN behind firewall
...LBANDWIDTH"Kbit tc class add dev $INTERFAZ_INT parent 1: classid 1:5 htb rate "$BANDWIDTH4LAN"Kbit tc qdisc add dev $INTERFAZ_INT parent 1:5 handle 5 sfq perturb 10 tc filter add dev $INTERFAZ_INT protocol ip parent 1: pref 1 handle 5 fw classid 1:5 Still no luck. after applying the obove rules, I downloaded an centos ISO image. But , I still can download @ the usual rate. ( i.e 30-33 kbytes per seconds). If these rules work, I will be able to download @ about 8 kbyes per second. (i.e - 8*8 kbit= 64 kbit) That is what I expect ? Where have I gone wrong? -- Thank you Indun...

some confusion about SR and PBD and ...
...hecked the LVM settings I saw that a new PV, VG and LV have been created. So I thought "WOW" ... next I did was checking the data rate, so I wrote a file with 4G in size (with dd) to the disk. One to the disk created for the SR and one to a disk one "abstraction layer" lower (or obove ? ... whatever ... :) ). The difference was quite noticable ~175MB/s on the SR disk and ~211MB/s one layer lower... Hm... I did some searching, but this seems to be the normal way... So my question: Is it somehow possible to attach an LV to be used (and managed) by XEN as a SR more directly (inste...

[LLVMdev] Re: gcc like attributes and annotations
hi Chris! thanks for your reply. First of all I did not know about the history with the Annotation stuff. Annotable for me was a way how one could realize this things. So as I see it right now - it is more that Annotable will completly vanish soon. This is interesting to me. Strange behaviour of winbind on solaris 8
Dear All, I came across a really strange behaviour when using winbind on solaris 8. Normally "nscd" should be turned off because it's causing problems in the username resolution etc. When I turn it off I can login e.g. using ssh as an AD users but when i start a command like "ls" it gets put in the background immediately? When "nscd" is turn on and login again I
