[LLVMdev] Behaviour of NVPTX intrinsic
is there any guarantee that the nvptx intrinsic "llvm.nvvm.barrier0" will
not be moved around by opt ?
In other words, can I expect all the instructions above
"llvm.nvvm.barrier0" to remain above it and those below it to remain below,
after all the opt passes are run ?
If that is not the case, is there a way to define such an intrinsic ?
Thanks.

Question about SWAT
...tried
to run SWAT but it appears to be not installed, I already have the samba
service configured and running and I would like to know if it's possible to
install SWAT without reinstalling samba, or should I run some command in
order to activate it? I don't know if I'm missing something o_0
If somebody can give me a hand it will be appreciated!!

This is why the Wine community recommends turning off Compiz. It is a wond...

option change password in other modules in webmin but it doesn't works, I
also have in the smb.conf "unix password sync = yes" but the same.
I will appreciate if somebody can give me an idea about how to ride this, or

Serious GCC/EGCS 2.91 bug found (bites rc2)
Hi folks,
The folks on RedHat who have been complaining of poor-quality encodes
prompted us to track down the trouble, and it's a compiler bug. We
have the asm .s files to prove it :-)
The summary: EGCS (gcc) versions through March 1999, including up to
at least gcc/egcs 2.91.66 have a serious floating point optimization
bug that hits Vorbis. This is a fairly old gcc version, but RedHat

Regression since 1.0RC5
Hi there,
I've found a regression in wine.
Some wine versions ago (sorry don't know the exact version but it must be wine1.0RC1 or wine1.0RC2) there was a "bug" that caused Steam to be extremly ressource hungry (processor is at 95% to 100% -> 2.4 GHz dualcore) and it took much time until you could see your games in Steam or a website is displayed.
Now the bug is back (in

Wish I could volunteer to work on that but am afraid my day job has me
now thinking about building a custom package to work around this for
the moment, or even attempting to find the right hexedit against the
existing shared object o_0... probably a line of thinking I should
squash now. Would it be helpful to have this registered as a customer
RFE with Red Hat?
Cheers,

Some pre-RC1 listening tests
Hello everyone,
ff123 compiled Monty's branch of the RC1 encoder, see his post on
r3mix.net forum:
http://66.96.216.160/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?board=c&action=display&num=994299736&start=30
Anyway it only supports ~128kbps mode, so I did a quick listening
test with some files that bugged vorbis beta4.

Problem logon to PDC
Hello,
I have setup a cluster system with drbd and heartbeat. I have samba running
as a PDC. Everything works great when I am on server1 But when failover
ocuurs I cannot seem to log on the domain anymore.
I Have symlinks to my home share : /var/cache/samba , /etc/samba/ who are
synced between 2 servers.
Do I have to sync another files ??
