You cannot use this patch with your current install of NeverWinter Nights. I get this with the 1.68 patch as well.
If I start the game and select Update I am told that the update is pinging nwpatch.bioware.com. I then get a message that a connection to the internet was not detected or the patch server might be down.
Pinging nwpatch.bioware.com shows that there is a connection,
