Variance-covariance matrix
...calling exp(coef(fit1)) say.
I now want to obtain the hazard ratio for the comparison of two non-standard
treatments.
>From a statistical point of view, this can be achieved by dividing the
exponentiated coefficients of 2 comparisions. E.g. to compared new treatment
1 (nt1) to new treatment 2 (nt2) we can fit 2 models:
fit1 = standard treatment vs nt1
fit2 = standard treatment vs nt2.
The required hazard ratio is therefore exp(coef(fit1))/exp(coef(fit2))
In order to obtain an associated confidence interval for this I require the
covariance of this comparison. I know that R gives the varian...

users.map file
In our users.map file we have the following entries:
unix1 = nt1
unix2 = nt2
unix3 = @unixgroup3
unix4 = @unixgroup4
When we create shares on the samba server, we assign the valid users as
@unixgroup3 or @unixgroup4. For whatever reason, if a share has @unixgroup4
as the valid users entry, we cannot connect to it from the nt side. If we
flip-flop the group entri...

inconsistent browsing info for samba server
...; returns only those NT machines that can
see the Samba servers.
Running "nmblookup -M" gives a name query error.
Running "nmblookup -S -B NT1 '*'" i get a name query error even
though the query was sent to correct IP address.
However, running "nmblookup -S -B NT2 '*'" another NT Server it
returns with 10 names including "..__MSBROWSE__." This might be due to
our NT administrator playing around with the Master Browser settings. I'm
not clear on what he did exactly. He's studying for his MCSE so he not
around for me to ask....

DTMF is being MUTED by asterisk to/from SIP channels from SIP or ZAP
I am having a problem trying to do inband DTMF passthru via asterisk.
My setup:
PSTN gateway MAXTNT v11.0 SIP (T1 PRI/NT2)
Asterisk HEAD or v1.0 makes no difference (I am using HEAD mostly)
12/10/04 and 01/17/05 (no difference)
CAC ABII-T100P to/from analog lines to/from asterisk
BTW, I have used a ABI and it works just like the ABII with asterisk.
What I am seeing is:
