[Bug 8450] New: --link-dest seems not to work mounted NTFS file systems
...and line options : --archive --delete --delete-excluded --exclude-from=/exclude.list --link-dest=<old dest> --stats --verbose <src> <dest> This works like a charm for all files located on my ext3 Linux partition. However for the 2 files of a NTFS drive not. Here rsync always transfers an unchanged file too, even if <old dest> contains that file (from a backup made yesterday) and therefore it should better be hard-linked only instead of being transferred twice. What is really curious - at the beginning of using this backup solution (some weeks ago) the <dest> does...

access to data denied
...purpose from Lotes Notes in a AD 2003 domain. I've created one share which holds the mailbackup-folders of my users. I've set the permissions on each folder so, that only users have access to their own mailbackup folder. drwxrwx- - - user1.root usersmailbackupfolder. I can write a backup.nsf to the usersmailbackuop folder. The permissions under the usersmailbackup folder: -rwxrwx- - - user1.root mailbackup.nsf The problem is that I can't open this mailbackup.nsf in lotus Notes anymore. I get a Access to data denied error. Although user1 is owner of the mailbackup.nsf and user1 i...

Question about Domino NSF files
I use Rsync to backup 53Gb worth of nsf files from a domino wintel based server, to a linux server. This works fine, however when trying to use cp ?al to make incremental copies, each copy always ends up being 53Gb in size. I?m not sure if this is because the files are in use by the domino server at the time of the backup or if there is...

faxes received on mISDN
Hi, My initial setup for receiving faxes worked as follows: fax call arrives on ISDN BRI connected to a BOSCH PBX, signal sent to ALCATEL PBX via PRI QSIG then finally sent to ASTERISK via PRI EUROISDN. The Asterisk server then forwarded the call to a iaxmodem and HylaFax received the data. All worked fine. Now I got rid of both BOSCH and ALCATEL in the "fax path" and it's as

Prototype error - iterator is not a function
I''m starting to learn to use Prototype (v1.5.1.1) along with Mootools. However I keep bumping into the same problem: All of the inserts result in the error "iterator is not a function" at line 542 of Prototype memo = iterator(memo, value, index); Am I missing something obvious here? I''m wondering if there''s an incompatibility between Prototype and Domino

Capistrano symlink problem - with ugly hack!
I''m trying to use capistrano (v1.99.0) for the first time (on dreamhost, if that matters) and the deploy:symlink task is creating an unusable symlink. ln -nsf deploy_dir/releases/20070520055816/ deploy_dir/current appears to work, but "ls -al deploy_dir/current/" yields "No such file or directory" However, if I cd into deploy_dir and then do ln -nsf releases/20070520055816/ current the symlink works great. CentOS 7, NSF, "feature"
In the last month, we've discovered a new, ahhhh, "feature" in the version of the version of NFS with CentOS 7: on startup, if it cannot resolve a given host, it dies. It does not continue on up, with all the other hosts it's exporting to, and just log a message. Is there a workaround, or a configuration, to change this "fail on unresolved host" behaviour? mark
