Mongrel Randomly getting TERM
...nced this problem? Every 12-24 hours *one of* my mongrel processes gets a TERM signal and quits. There is all I get in my mongrel log.. ** Mongrel available at 0.0.0.0:8003 ** TERM signal received. And my rails-log is silent too. No request starting. Just the end of a successful request and then nothingness. The other processes are doing just fine and stay up for good. Anyone know what''s going on here? Oh yeah, and its lighty-proxy + mongrel on Ubuntu. -hampton. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://wrath.rubyonrails.org/pipermail/rails/atta...

Sound not working?
When I call into my system I have it set to play a bunch of different sound files (I'm doing testing right now), but when it connects there is just nothingness for about the time the sound file should take to play. A soundcard is installed on my system and working properly. Last night I would sometimes get "Sound: Record Overrun" messages when I would close asterisk down or load it up. When a call comes in the first extension is an answer...

Rsyncing Linux to OS X
...e. Is there any way, or combination of options, that I can use to simply transfer these files intact? Would it help to uninstall the RsyncX version, and use plain ol' 2.5.5 on the OS X box? PostgreSQL user database
...e I have this information in the DB, but sometimes it is useful to get, for example the location of the mailbox by another way than the uid and gid). Content-Length: 0
While trying to debug a goofy XML loading issue in IE, I''ve found that Mongrel (latest) returns Content-Type: 0 with every request on a particular (CentOS 4) server, yet not on my local (OS X) box. These both access identical Rails apps. This seems like a clue, but thought I''d ask here if for some reason this is expected behavior. Both running Ruby 1.8.4. Both return

debugging T.38 issues
...incoming from some specific fax machines consistenly fail. I have indentified 2 types of failures: - Incoming call is sent to SPA112, reinvite to T.38 is initiated and accepted. One T.38 packet is sent from the SPA112 to asterisk (t30ind: no-signal, see pcap output below) followed by 20 seconds of nothingness and then the call is hung up. - Incoming call is sent to SPA112, reinvite to T.38 is initiated and accepted. A number of T.38 packets is sent from the SPA112 to asterisk (it repeats NSF,CSI,DIS signals 3 times) followed ba call hangup. In none of the above 2 cases do I see T.38 packets flowing fro...

managing data and removing lines
Hi, I am very new to R and I've been trying to work through the R book to gain a better idea of the code (which is also completely new to me). Initially I imputed my data from a text file and that seemed to work ok, but I'm trying to examine linear relationships between gdist and gair, gdist and gsub, m6dist and m6air, etc. This didn't work and I think it might have something to do
