Not a silly question, I had the same idea and had tried it out but it

I don't agree with hpa here. SYSLINUX expects MBR partition table entries
with absolute addresses. Those are exactly the primary partition entries.
That's not what i would call agnostic.
But i agree with his assessment that it is very cumbersome to find the

Earth 2140: I was able to play it just once
Hello all,
nostalgy caught me recently, so I bought GOG version of Earth 2140 (http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/earth_2140_trilogy). I was able to play it once under Wine (the game installed itself, I run it right from installer, played for bunch of hours, then quit).
Since then, every attempt to do so ends like this:
