PCAD2001 under wine
Dear sirs !
I have the only troube with PCAD under wine - PCB router shows all
traces 2 times thicker than real. (any version of wine in any
configurations)
It is possible to download 30 day trial for experiments.
There are some number of noncritical bugs, but trace width is most
significant.
This feature prevent me from using pcad under wine.
Will anyone solve this problem ?
Will it ever happens ?
Please inform me if you will solve this or not.
Thanks,
best regards.

Deleting contents of /tmp on shutdown
I use to have a line of code in /etc/init.d/syslog (I think this was the
file) to delete the contents of my /tmp directory on shutdown. It originally
came from fedora. I have searched for it but can't find it again.
Anyone happen to have it?
TIA

How to get 4.3 updates without 4.4 upgrade
Well, I want to stay on an even keel, here with 4.3 for a week or two.
I would like to update needed programs.
Would also like to get a newer gnome!
What are others doing here. Too much traffic, too much to read....

ipw2200 Stats MT in /proc/net/wireless
...wireless stats showing up
in /proc/net/wireless (running wpa2, although that shouldn't make a
difference). The /proc/net/wireless file claims that the Extensions are
at Version 18 which should include the ipw_get_wireless_stats() call.
Dmesg tells me nothing of interest about this (admittedly noncritical)
issue.
What am I missing here? Is the appropriate version of ipw-firmware needed other
other than 2.4 or 3.0 ?

Opening with wav module: WAV file reader
Encoding "grind1.wav" to

What's this "skipping chunk" all about?

Gnome Desktop Screensaver Security Lock Override?
We deployed our first CentOS-4 based workstation this past spring to see
if we can conveniently replace all, or at least most, of our MS-Win based
user systems with Linux boxes instead. Generally this trial unit has
proved a success but there is one lingering problem that I cannot seem to
find a straight-forward answer to: Is there an administrator override to a
user's password protected
