SAMBA PDC User Permissions, Admin Settings, and Logon?
...If I don't set up each user account (w/ domain) on the WinXP
machine I want to logon to, I get some kind of very, very limited logon. It
almost seems to be corrupted.
Issue 3: This is my main frustration - I cannot seem to block access to
other peoples shares! EG user chrisg can access the nolan share, etc.
Final Issue: Not a big problem, but I can't figure out how to set up the
CUPS drivers for the pdf-generator.
Is it a winbind problem, bad config, or am I just a moron?
Attached is my smb.conf

Titles changing when a plot is redrawn
...his behavior is what is intended, and that
somewhere between R 2.10.0 and R 2.13.2 an old bug was fixed.
Or this behavior is not what was intended, and a bug was
introduced. If the former, this should be explained to the user
somewhere. If the latter, can someone track it down and fix?

UI-related change to PasswordAuthentication in sshd_config file
Hi Nolan,
The default sshd configuration file is often distribution-dependant. It means that even if upstream changed it, the result would not always be propaged in the distrib packages.

Problem running examples with spec_server
Hello,
Running RSpec without DRB works fine.
However, "spec -X" runs without error but provides no output at all, even
though the DRB spec_server seems to be fine.
Has anyone got some suggestions as to why and how to fix?

validates_presence_of *_id attributes
Hi all,
I am a newbie to Rails. Please enlighten me on how to do this
appropriately, the Rails and the Ruby way:
Suppose I have a Recipe model. Let''s simplify things and pretend that
it has only 2 attributes, a :name and the other is a ''category_id''. In
the recipes table, category_id is a foreign key to field id of table
categories.

Hello:
The example "integrate(dnorm,0,20000)" says it "fails on many
systems". I just got 0 from it, when I should have gotten either an
error or something close to 0.5. I got this with R 2.12.0 under both
Windows Vista_x64 and Linux (Fedora 13); see the results from Windows
below. I thought you might want to know.

Effect.Puff Problem - first frame is wrong size
...seems un-related but the ''pos'' that gets calculated earlier
seems pretty fishy. i.e. the first iteration it''s 6*10-8 plus or
minus. Some weird math when 1-0 happens on the .from and .to. The
next time through the loop it''s a decent value.

Crashing Firefox when updating the same div
...a link_to_remote where I''m :updating the same div that

Would it help if I try to isolate the code? Would it be more a
firefox bug, or a JS bug? i.e. do we think we can fix the library,
or do I have to go around it until firefox gets fixed?
