how to create an mpeg4 mimetype (OT)
Hi All, I think this may be off topic, but since it's through centos 5.2, I'm not sure. Here is what I would like to do: I have created a web page for family to log into and view clips of my new niece. My camera saves these clips in mpeg4 format. What I would like to do is have the web clients click on the link and have either the clip pop up a save dialog or even better, start playing the clip. Right now if the link is clicked it starts downloading right away but the file looks like gib...

I would really like to get this resolved as soon as possible. It is the only way I can have interaction with my niece in America since I moved to the UK. Thanks

ices2 and Icecast2 on debian configuration question
...hat I installed via aptitude. I have a 3MBit/s download and 800KBit/s upload link. I would like to configure icecast2 and ices2 properly. Here is my situation: 1)I have a dtdns address omac.darktech.org 2)icecast2 and ices2 on port 8000 would be fine. 3)I simply want to broadcast my 6 year old niece's voice which I have converted to .ogg using the blade encoder. i.e. bladeenc elyse4.wav elyse4.ogg 3.3)I don't seem to need a relay since I am running both icecast2 and ices2 on the same machine. 4)I ran ices2 ices-playlist.xml 5)I ran icecast2 -c icecast.xml 6)I went to my brother'...

FOSDEM?
Hi all, A couple of people are trying to convince me to come to FOSDEM in Belgium at the end of February. I''m a bit hesitant because I''ve been doing so much travel, but LinuxConf.au was a great experience and seems to have really helped get exposure to Puppet. There seems to be a pretty strong European contingent of Puppet users, and it''d be great to meet

Mail always is delivered to /var/mail/
Hey, I am setting up Dovecot on Debian with Postfix. I am telling Dovecot to use maildir:~/Maildir but it persists in dumping mail in mbox format in /var/mail/username. Can anyone suggest ideas? My config file is attached. Thanks Kevin -------------- next part -------------- ## Dovecot 1.0 configuration file # Default values are shown after each value, it's not required to uncomment #
