...se of the NT password model (plaintext passwords on the hard drive). In the near future, I intend to revise the module to support authentication via hashed passwords. In the meantime, I welcome anyone who's interested to kick pam_smbpass around. It's available for download from ftp://ftp.netexpress.net/pub/pam/ in either tar.gz or RedHat rpm format. Kick it around, let me know if you find any bugs.. It's so far withstood everything I've thrown at it, but there's nothing like putting it on the open network to turn up coding errors. :) -Steve Langasek...

FXO Cards in Australia
Hi All, This topic has come up before in the Asterisk mailing list many times, so I know that a lot of people have given up in waiting for a FXO card to be approved by the Australian telecommunications authority. My question is: all legalities aside - is anyone using a FXO card in Australia successfully? Thanks in advance. Regards, Gonzalo

chan_skinny & XML Files for 7920
Hi, I have a Cisco 7920 that I'm trying to get working with my * box. When the phone boots it requests XMLDefault.cnf.xml and SEP<MACADDRESSHERE>.cnf. I assume I set the line number, etc in the latter of the two. However I cannot find any reference to how this file is structured. Anyone know? I assume this is why I'm getting the errors below: Oct 17 19:47:24
