problem with samba 3.0 beta
...he problem i am facing is samba requires /etc/passwd entry of user in addition to ldap entry. I am pasting my smb.conf for ref. Is it possible to use only ldap account so that i do not have to add /etc/passwd entry. AllowHosts support in sshd missing.
...of SSH Inc's sshd isn't there in OpenSSH yet. Has anyone been working on this? Am I the only one that seems to miss this feature? sshd -t to test configuration file syntax?
...e.g. 'sshd -p 2022' to see if it's okay. May I suggest some option, e.g. sshd -t, which would test config files and other obvious issues and return an errorcode if something is broken? RHL init.d/sshd ipv6 hack
...on RHL without problems and without having to modify the init.d/sshd script. This or something like should IMO be added. OpenSSH gurus: Apologies if this has been covered already (or is a genuine FAQ). I've searched both Google and MARC extensively on this issue, and have come up empty. 2.9p2: sshd -6, port fwd of ipv4 fails
...rts w/ ipv4? I wonder if this would work properly on systems that do double bind, ie. separate ipv4 and ipv6 socket.
