word 97, windows 2000 bug ?
When opening a word 97 file on a network drive it creates a ~$.... file,
but on exit the temporary doesn't disappear. If i access the file by
network neighbouhood the problem doesn't occur anymore...Strange no?
I tried with all win 2000 services packs, and i use samba 2.2.7 on redhat 8.0.

package GeneSOM ?
Hello Rprofessionals,
The SOM-Obj works very well, when i normalize
my data and the plot-function, too !
But i miss or didn't find the possibility , extract the
information from the SOMplot "clusterSize" and "mean" for every cluster as quantitative information ( i.e. the DataFrame with an additional column which
define the calculate clusters from SOM)?

fitting distributions with R

I've got the dataset

I know from other testing that it should be possible to fit the data with the
exponentialdistribution. I tried to get parameterestimates for the
exponentialdistribution with R, but as the values
of the parameter

Yes.
In the network neighbouhood I see all of
server1 (the name of the samba server)
system1 (the system that holds the actual shares) and
icadfs (the netbios alias for server1)
I can access (files in) \\system1\Public and \\system1\test
If I open \\server1\ I see a folder dfs (and smbdoc),
if I try to request properties from df...
