search for: neighborehood

I have samba 3.0.4 acting as a local master browser and couple of win xp sp1, sp2, win 9x client machines. Everything works fine excepts win xp sp2. It just disappears from network neighborehood in about 15-20 minutes after start. stop/starting "Server" system service on this machine solves problem for next 15-20 mins. %) What can be done about it? Is there any sence to upgrade samba to latest stable? I have not found my problem fixed in bugfix list. -- Argo...

Hi all, I'm running Samba 3/FC4 as NT 4 DC with LDAP/winbind, everything's fine except a single XP workstation is not listed in the network neighborehood and I can't browse to the machine 's admin shares either, I've tried to remove and rejoin the machine to the domain, it joined fine, but I still can't browse to it, checked wins setting is correct also, any ideas?
