Generate two calls from Asterisk and bridge them
...ternal SIP extension). 3.- Once both channel have answered, connect the call between them. This way, I can, for example, play audios in both channels before they are connected between each other. So my question is: Does anybody figures out a way to do this? If I use Manager/Originate, the call necesarily needs a channel to be picked up (the originating channel) before the call can be placed. What I'd like to do is: Asterisk -> Channel 1 and do something in channel 1 Asterisk -> Channel 2 and do something in channel 2 Bridge both channels: Channel 1 <----> Channel 2 Is maybe &qu...

Now i have configured a new bridge interface br0: DEVICE=br0 TYPE=Bridge BOOTPROTO=static The IP settings are for a second public ipv4 address in the

Probably related, with the esp flag the partition is NOT automounted on my Ubuntu machine, I need to mount it by hand using the "mount" command. 3. OT: Opensource "Sipura Profile Compiler" for SPA2K, 3K
Hello list, I have several SPA-2000's and 3000's scattered about the Internet (all behind NATs). Because I do not qualify as an ITSP, Sipura will not license their "Sipura Profile Compiler" so that I can have the units remote upgrade, remote re-configure, etc (via TFTP or HTTP). This is extremely annoying. Right now if I have to make a config change to any of these

Help choosing the right card
I have been doing a lot of reading forums and elsewhere but am somehow unable to connect the dots. Here is what I am trying to accomplish initially and then wish for it to grow bigger from here on. I have two POTS (Analog) line that would connect to the Asterisk Box. I have, to begin with 5 IP phones (PoE), all connected to a switch. Asterisk Box with a LAN card also connects to the same switch.

SU vs. ssh root@host
All-- su cannot be run without trusting the shell. The shell cannot be trusted without trusting any instructions the shell uses, from library calls to rc scripts. Hell, the instructions the shell uses can't even be trusted, since they're all living in userspace memory. By contrast, SSHD is generally a root owned, highly secure environment with no unpriveledged userspace

Naming convention for foreign keys
