[LLVMdev] [3.6 Release] Time to fix the release notes
The 3.6 release is drawing nearer, but the release notes could still use a lot of improvement: LLVM: https://github.com/llvm-mirror/llvm/blob/release_36/docs/ReleaseNotes.rst Clang: https://github.com/llvm-mirror/clang/blob/release_36/docs/ReleaseNotes.rst The good news is that they can be updated all the way up until release. smb 3 posix extension support (minimum version for cifs.ko and smbd)
Hi everyone, Steve and Jeremy gave a great talk at SambaXP on SMB3 with Posix extensions. The death of SMB1 gets nearer ! I was wondering what is the minimum Samba version and minimum Linux kernel version in order to get that support. Cheers, Denis -- Denis Cardon Tranquil IT 12 avenue Jules Verne (Bat. Query on finding root
...Eq 1, I got the answer u=0.3952365. But when I use the function 'uniroot' to solve the Eq.1, I got a different answer which is u=0.6048157. Why did this difference happen? Which is the correct method to solve Eq.1. Using the value of *u *from the first method my further calculation was nearer to empirical values. The R-code I used is herewith. Kindly help me to solve this issue. R-code Q(u)=(c*u^lamda1)/((1-u)^lamda2) mean=28353.7 # mean calculated from data lamda1=.03399381 # estimates c, lamda1 and lamda2 calculated from data lamda2=.1074444 c=26104.50 library(Davies)# using package...

Comparing samples with widely different uncertainties
...timate of the percentage uncertainty in the measurement. Generally the measurements in data set A are higher but they have a large uncertainty (~20%) while the measurements in data set Bare lower but have a small uncertainty (~4%). I believe, from the physiology, that the true value is likely to be nearer the value of A than of B. I need to show that, despite the uncertainties in the measurements (which are not themselves normally distributed), there is (or is not) a difference between the two groups, (a straight Wilcoxon signed ranks test shows a difference but it cannot include that uncertainty da...

Way to measure loss of quality
2 things, first an idea... next a question. QUALITY MEASUREMENT IDEA: I find it difficult to hear 2 voice samples and tell which is nearer the original, especially if the background hiss is slightly different. So what if you actually subtract the post-compression sound from the original and then listen to the DIFFERENCE. If you can't hear any voice except background noise and some hiss from "s"'s and "d"...

[LLVMdev] Possible missed optimization?
Indeed, i've marked it as commutable: let isCommutable = 1, isTwoAddress = 1 in def XORRdRr : FRdRr<0b0010, 0b01, (outs GPR8:$dst), (ins GPR8:$src1, GPR8:$src2), "xor\t$dst, $src2", [(set GPR8:$dst, (xor GPR8:$src1, GPR8:$src2))]>; -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

[LLVMdev] Possible missed optimization?
I've noticed this pattern happening with other operators aswell, but used xor in this example. As i said before, i tried with different register allocation orders, but it will produce always the same result. GCC is emitting longer code, but since LLVM is so nearer to the optimal code sequence i wanted to reach it. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Get PasswordMustChangeNow parameter from command line
Perfect, I got the parameter I needed! I just checked for `msDS-UserPasswordExpiryTimeComputed`, and if it's 0, then I know the password needs to change on the next login! Thanks! I honestly had no idea what the attributes were, but now I see they're the attributes that are in Active Directory. SIP/nat situation
...ers. Each one of these addresses can potentially have a 192.168.x.x/x subnet. On top, the wireless nodes, themselves, are linked in 172.16.x.x/x subnets. On top of the top, there is internet and cool things for people, like iptel, fwd, etc. If there is SIP paradise, our set up is most definitely nearer to hell, regarding nat, because no one knows which kind of address the asterisk client is going to come up with. The more I fiddle with asterisk and read this list, the bigger my doubts about the possibility of making asterisk (SIP) work for most of us (it already works for some). A friend sugges...
