Winbind ADS Issues w/ *TONS* of Pre-Research
...day. I have a seemingly valid Samba configuration file. All of the `wbinfo -u`, `wbinfo -g`, `getent passwd`, and `getent group` commands work just fine. Howver, `wbinfo -t` and `wbinfo -a` don't work, and I can't authenticate users against the domain controller. As an example: [root@nasone samba]# net ads join -U Administrator Administrator's password: [2004/05/13 17:49:30, 0] libads/ldap.c:ads_add_machine_acct(1006) Host account for nasone already exists - modifying old account Using short domain name -- ECHUDSON Joined 'NASONE' to realm 'HUDSON-OFFICE.E...

Really Funky Samba Errors (smbd/nttrans.c:call_nt_transact_ioctl)
Hi All, I'm experiencing some really funky Samba errors, and I'm hoping that some of you might have some ideas. This only happens sporadically, and when it does, I loose Samba connectivity for a while. Here are my Samba logs: Jun 2 13:29:01 nasone smbd[20289]: [2004/06/02 13:29:01, 0] smbd/nttrans.c:call_nt_transact_ioctl(2076) Jun 2 13:29:01 nasone smbd[20289]: call_nt_transact_ioctl(0x9009c): Currently not implemented. R-beta: S+ toolboxes in R?
Hi, I guess the answer is negative but I thought I would ask just the same: is it possible to use any of the S+ toolboxes (ARCH and wavelets, more particularly) with R? Thanks, Olivier Lefevre Union Bank of Switzerland New York, NY PS: Please cc me any reply as I am not on the list (at least not yet).

wavethresh: length must be power of two
Hello. I am using the 4.2 version of the wavethresh package available from here: http://www.stats.bris.ac.uk/~wavethresh/ trying to follow the book of Nason (http://www.springer.com/978-0-387-75960-9). I am interested in the analysis of several years time series of daily data with wavelets methods. But the functions of this package only accept data whose lengths are power of two, even for non-decimated DWT. For example: > data=rnorm(365) > w...
