Hello, I'm using Samba 2.2.7a on RedHat 9.0. I'm trying to set-up universal logons between a Samba Server and a W2K SP3 DC, which has restrictanonymous=1. I followed the procedure as described at http://ftp.easynet.be/samba/docs/man/winbind.html - I managed to join the Samba server (MYSAMBASRV) to the domain (MYDOMAIN) - I used wbinfo with the -A switch to store the credentials of a Domain Admin user account, so that a list of all shares could be retrieved from the domain controller (MYDC) - I successfully retrieved a list of all W2K users and groups (using getent passwd / getent group)...

...ng strange things: 1) We cannot manager the Samba DNS "server" by Windows DNS manger tool; 2) The domain zone, i.e. mydomain.com zone, do not exists at Samba4 DNS. All of the others (i.e. _msdsc.mydomain.com, , etc) exists. 3) We cannot ADD an entry in Samba DNS, (using samba-tool dns add mysambasrv mydomain.com bl? bl? bl?). The system returns an error like "name doesn't exists". At the WindowsDC, I can see de mydomain.com zone, the registers and I can ADD, Delete, etc. If I run the samba-tool dns add command, pointing to my WindowsDC server, it works fine. So, my questions are...
