Website, book, paper, etc. that shows example plots of distributions?
...of the benefit of I the benefit of doing Q-Q plots and histograms to help assess a distribution.   The whitepaper is called: "Univariate Analysis and Normality Test Using SAS, Stata, and SPSS*" , © 2002-2008 The Trustees of Indiana University Univariate Analysis and Normality Test: 1, Hun Myoung Park   Unfortunately the white paper does not provide an extensive amount of example distributions plotted using Q-Q plots and histograms, so I am curious if there is a "portfolio"-type  website or other whitepaper shows examples of various types of distributions. It would be helpful to...

Verizon SIP "trunking" Field Trial
All, We are in the process of trying to setup our network to use Verizon's SIP "trunking" product. They say that since Asterisk is not on their certified list of approved devices, we need to go through a field trial to get it approved before allowing us to use their service. Where we are at is getting the design approved. We are trying to watch our budget at the same time. We

Newbie Trying XEN with CENTOS 5.6 dom0
Hi All, After digging through the xen wiki, the recommendation I have found so far for first time virtualization testing of XEN is to use Centos. Do I get to choose which XEN hypervisor version I want to run?...e.g if I want the latest (XEN 4.1) At the moment I am using a liveCD - feeling my way around Linux environment (newbie here as well)... Any pointers to set me in the right direction

Re: Benchmarking GPL PV Drivers for Windows between0.9.11-pre13 and 0.10.0.69
...ay since last summer - nothing > much has changed for me! > Ok. Fedora 11 now has Xen 3.3.1 hypervisor and tools, and it will receive 3.4.1 shortly after it has been released upstream (rawhide already has 3.4.0). There are also pv_ops dom0 kernel RPMs for testing: http://fedorapeople.org/~myoung/dom0/ Also you might be interested of the wiki page I made yesterday: http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenDom0Kernels I've been successfully using Fedora 10 and Fedora 11 with pv_ops dom0 myself.. there are still some bugs and issues, some bigger changes still need to be done to get accepted...

ACL Permissions Tab
...permissions for the share. If I try to modify or add to them, the changes don't take effect. It looks as if they do, because I don't get an error message. But when I go back and look at the permissions, they appear to be unmodified. Is there something else that I should do? -- Mike Young myoung@ispchannel.com

XEN 4.0.1 + pv_ops Kernel + CentOS 5.5 x86_64, is there an easier way.
Hi As you may''ve seen from my last posts I''m struggling to get the setup on my subject line to work without flaws. I''ve tried compiling the Kernel from Source, I''ve also tried Fedora 14, which has a flaky pv_ops Dom0 kernel which DOESN''T work at all, but none of these seem to work. I''m a mid-time XEN user, I just love it and want to stay

[HOWTO] Running Xen 4.0 host (dom0) with Redhat Enterprise Linux 6 (RHEL6)
Hello, If you''re interested in running Xen 4.0 hypervisor/dom0 on RHEL6, take a look at here: http://wiki.xen.org/xenwiki/RHEL6Xen4Tutorial It explains steps needed to rebuild Xen 4.0.1 src.rpm from Fedora on RHEL6, and how to fetch dom0 capable 2.6.32.x kernel from upstream git repository. It also shows how to get libvirt/virt-manager working with Xen on RHEL6. Hopefully it helps :)

XEN 4.1.2+Centos 6.2+Kernel 3.X
Hey hope this opne is a "make senser". Has anyone tried the "Subject line" combo?, I''ve compiled a dozen src.rpm kernel 3.0 and 3.1 packages with no luck to try native upstream Dom0 kernel support with no success, just a kernel oops and constant reboots. I followed Fedora''s wiki on building a custom kernel, even used F16''s .config which also was a

[Patch RFC] nouveau accelerated on Xen pv-ops kernel
Hi, Following is a simple patch that is needed in nouveau to get accelerated X on a Xen dom0 pv_ops kernel. The kernel is jeremy's 2.6.31.6 as of 20100222. The whole gpu tree of nouveau (which is almost the mainline merge), was substituted into the kernel-tree. All components of X (mesa, Xorg-server-7.5, xf86-nouveau, libdrm) used of the same day.
