Windows Kernel & Executive implementation
Hello everyone, my name is Volodymyr, I am driver developer mostly doing
stuff for Windows.
I discovered that WineHQ project does not have support for drivers (am I
wrong?). In other words, quite a big amount of applications will fail to
function properly, because many of them are using helper device drivers to
get some extended functionality. I can just mention RegMon, FileMon, TDIMom,

GetTimeZoneInformation question
Hi all,
The following code snippet isn''t working terribly well for me. I can get
the Bias, StandardName and DaylightName, but everything else is goofed
up. The alignment seems ok, but maybe I''ve missed something or maybe I
have to do extra work to unpack the SYSTEMTIME structures.
require ''windows/time''
include Windows::Time
buf = 0.chr * 172 #

running VBA code/macros within Linux
Hi,
.
I know you can run Windows applications using WINE (winehq.com), but has
anyone tried, say, running Word or Excel VBA code/macros based on Windows
run time libraries?
.
the thing is that in their faq
(http://www.winehq.com/site/docs/wine-faq/index) they don't even mention
this possibility and searching on; VBA Word, doesn't give you any hits,
even though WINE does link to windows

RFC: Implement variable-sized register classes
I have posted a patch that switches the API to one that supports this
(yet non-existent functionality) earlier:
https://reviews.llvm.org/D24631
The comments from that were incorporated into the following RFC.
Motivation:
Certain targets feature "variable-sized" registers, i.e. a situation
where the register size can be configured by a hardware switch. A
common instruction set
