[cfe-dev] Portable multiplication 64 x 64 -> 128 for int128 reimplementation
_mulx_u64 only exists when the target is x86_64. That's still not very
portable. I'm not opposed to removing the bmi2 check, but gcc also has the
same check so it doesn't improve portability much.

[cfe-dev] Portable multiplication 64 x 64 -> 128 for int128 reimplementation
On trunk we never generate MULX. We used to blindly use it anytime bmi2 was
enabled, but its a longer encoding and isn't a guaranteed register
allocation improvement. So I took it out a few weeks ago. We need a more
precise heuristic for when to use it.
LLVM trunk will never generate ADCX/ADOX either. This was removed in

[LLVMdev] Difficulty with reusing DAG nodes.
I'm trying to implement *MUL_LOHI for my processor.
My processor has mulxss (e.g.) that gives the 32 high bits of a 64 bit
multiply.
I tried this in ios2ISelDAGToDAG.cpp:
/// Mul/Div with two results
case ISD::SMUL_LOHI:
case ISD::UMUL_LOHI: {
SDValue Op1 = Node->getOperand(0);
SDValue Op2 = Node->getOperand(1);
AddToISelQueue(O...

Playonlinux and Office 2007
I'm trying to install MS office 2007 standard trial using Playonlinux on Wine 1.3.8.
I need to install stuff like MSXML, .net 2 etc... but when I start installing them, a dialog pops up saying 'choose a prefix to patch'... and the list below is empty.
If I forward the dialog just closes.

[LLVMdev] Tail-calling
Tail calls through function pointers should work.If not please send a testcase.
I just added the two examples from the bug (1392) that calls for true
tail call support. They work on my machine (-tailcallopt needs to be
enabled) ;)
That would be commit 56127.
