Wine 20050211 (but this has occurred as long as I remember using
wine...)

strange problem with w95

Has anyone else experienced this problem and found the cause?
(OS is Solaris 9, Samba 3.0.10 (will be upgrading to 3.0.14 shortly)
My apologies if this is an RTFM - a pointer to any documenation would also

[Bug 1069] session being terminated after succesful authentication
...problem due to not running as root? But the setuid
establishes the effective uid as root so that should take care of that
issue...
The same ssh binary can succesfully connect to a 3.6.1p2 sshd process
I will attach the debug traces for both the sshd process & both ssh client
sessions shortly.

Stumbling blocks moving to NTLMv2
...sers are happy.
Later, we found that some new Laptops couldn't join the domain - reverting
the samba change made that work too.
Hunting around for info has proved fruitless so far.
The problem is that the change is required.
Does anyone have experience of this?
Or know of any useful docs?
