hung SSH on Solaris when starting Oracle

>From experimentation, stopping the listener does not trigger the
behavior, only starting it. Stopping and/or starting the database
proper (dbshut, dbstart) does not trigger the behavior.

Dynamic address problem
Hi All,
We have clients which dynamic IPs which we have setup with
<host>.dyndns.org addresses. We have added these to the rsync.conf
'hosts allow=" but they are being denied access.. Is there anyway
around this?

Rsync time syncing problem
Hi All,
I hope someone can help me. We use Rsync to transfer files to and
from our Australian and US server and we are experiencing files being
overwritten and a few files disappearing (their contents disappear).
I have setup ntp on each machine pointing to the same ntp server and
set the hwclock to utc. We have found that the files on the US server
are x:xx:01 secs and the AU server is

ssh to local servers
Hi All,
I have just set up shorewall with the ''two-interfaces.tar.gz'' but I
can''t seem to ssh to any of my local servers. What do I need to add
to my /etc/shorewall/rules to allow me to ssh to say 192.168.10.12 ?

Two way syncing
Hi.
I'm having lots of problems getting two way syncing working, can
anyone help with the below error?
rsync -vrtuz --exclude='~*' --exclude='*.tmp' matt-test/. gonzo:matt-test/.

Should I have only 1 or two colons here: --------^^

Migrating Samba PDC
Hi All,
I'm trying to migrate our Samba PDC server to a new machine on the
local net with a completely new domain, but when I try to join this
domain on a Win2k machine it gives error 'invalid domain or can't be
located' I have no problem on my mac using DAVE. and i can see the
new domain in the browse list. Here is my configuration.
Any help would be great.
