Libvirt LXC hostname
...l-lists. It seems like this was a problem back in 2013 and it was mentioned that host name cannot be provided. I was wondering if this has been resolved and the host name can be provided in the URI. Link to the similar issue back in 2013: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libvirt-users/2013-November/msg00080.html Any help is much appreciated. Thank you, Anu

Is CentOS Linux protected against the Meltdown and Spectre security flaws?
Hi, Depends on your centos release; 6 or 7 ? The most recent kernel are patched; have a look at the release notes, e.g. https://www.redhat.com/archives/rhsa-announce/2018-January/msg00080.html <https://www.redhat.com/archives/rhsa-announce/2018-January/msg00080.html> https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0008 <https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0008> Regards . Compiling Asterisk with gcc 3.4
Hi there.. Compiling Asterisk (CVS from 10.05.04) with gcc 3.3.2 works fine. But I have to compile the Kernel with GCC 3.4. Trying to compile Asterisk with gcc 3.4 will result in a compiler-crash. Any idea? Yours, Karl

access function in fuse_operations (concerns libguestfs)
...ccess restrictions (for whatever reason) when "-o default_permissions" is *not* given? 3) What could be the case why the access function was implemented in the first place? Maybe someone from libguestfs knows this, but it have found https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2014-June/msg00080.html where some problem is described when there is no access function. D.H.

PXE boot, Kickstart NFS install and %include...
...t and reference the modular configs, if I have to, but I wondered is there a better method? I've Googled around a bit and found these threads from '02... https://www.redhat.com/archives/kickstart-list/2002-May/msg00184.html https://www.redhat.com/archives/anaconda-devel-list/2005-October/msg00080.html Which clarify what's going on but not really how people deal with %include and NFS. Will.
